O. My. Just came looking for inspiration with a singer/songwriter arrangement. Needless to say, this is as inspired as they come. Beautiful, just a beautiful, grooving rendition. Melody, chordal motion and phrasing, rhythmic essence, all delivered in the impassioned spirit of the original. I love the juxtaposition of the cookin’ rhythm and the slow soul-deep melodies weaving through it. Likely my favourite Massive Attack tune. I was smiling the whole way through.
