I’m currently in Italy working on my masters in ancient Mediterranean history and archaeology. I just took an exam today and came home to nap. I felt guilty about not immediately starting to study for my next two on ancient Western Asian history and archaeology/art history but I opened RUclips to watch asmr and this was in my recommended! The perfect compromise!

So Sumerian most likely followed Moon cycles despite Suns dominant status because to know an unknown or known phenomenon you first also study what it is not as everything has two sides so does time and wisdom, for example 13 number is considered unlucky and at 14th every month moon starts to disappear which means you must harvest before 13, ideally on 12th day of month as after 13th day quality of fruit/grain start to decay

I got the HarperCollins special edition Lord Of The Rings which has all the three parts all in one volume. i've always wanted that, because that's how Tolkien intended it. I've read The Expanse books but I haven't seen the show, same with Dune lol read the books but not seen the show. I watched that Ken Burns Civil War series in the early 90's when it went on TV here. I was really obsessed with the US Civil War back then although I'm from Northern Europe. That title song, the Ashokan Farewell is really haunting.

This was amazing ASMR! Good job. I'm probably going to re-watch this one several times. Looking forward to seeing the continuation too!

Unique lesson that is both basic and nuanced- not an easy feat. You venture into more detailed information without getting bogged in the weeds and losing orientation and time allotted. I certainly learned new things. My only criticism is that Israel should feature more prominently in Mesopotamian and Ancient ME history. I am not using the biblical trope but referring to objective archaeological discoveries and hard facts produced by such venerable organizations like the Israel antiquities agency, which may corroborate biblical passages but does not have that as their motive. Israel had a long, lustrous existence as a large national unit in its own right from the declining era of Canaan and the Hittites and Phoenicians to the divorce of the Israelites into two separate kingdoms: Judah and Israel, followed by the Assyrian conquest of Israel in the 8th century BCE. Judah came next with the defeat to Babylon in the 6th century. That was the beginning of the Jewish Diaspora, that you referred to briefly, and still continues today. Look forward to more talks! Mesopotamia known as present day Iraq , west of Asia . Ancient Mesopotamia civilization include Sumerian , Assyarian , Akkadian , Babylonian civilization. Religion of Mesopotamia is polytheistic, many different deities. Language Sumerian Babylonian and Assyrian together known as Akkadian , later Armanaic . Last part of my research Mesopotamia name derived from Greek word ( between rivers ) . Mesopotamia is south of Ramadi 70 miles or 110 kilometers west of Baghdad. There are agricultural products such as dates palm , leather , fish . Civilization clay in mud , pottery , artifacts.Mesopotamia have history of mathematics and astronomy, literature, myths . I want to study history or sociology at college, but think god English as international language opens doors for knowledge, internet making us as tourists around world in 24 hours or university students.
