Can I report/ sue him because I was getting paid as an independent contractor, but I was working as a W2 employee every day from 8:00 am until he said you are clear for the day after 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 hours shift!?

You start your new job sooner. I quit without notice on a Friday because new job started on Monday. If you're under contract for notice, start you're new job. Call in sick everyday to the old one. After awhile, they'll threaten to let you go.

It depends on the felony I know a physician personally who is practicing and has a felony conviction his was vehicular homicide

Abandoned: What if the receptionist refused to give the nurse or doctor message from pharmacy regarding a prescription error by doctor, then refused to give same message from the patient to nurse or doctor & told patient she "could not have" the increase in her daily prescription, telling her, "You will just have to make do with two a day!" Then, pharmacy still could not get a response back from the doctor's office the patient had to go two days in a row, both days to pay off bill & ask about the prescription that needed correction by doctor. Patient did not behave in any way that was less than a very weak, sick person politely asking to please speak with nurse for a moment when she could find the time. However, the nurse made a claim to this very, very sick patient, that she had been "harassing the staff" & the receptionist sent a letter telling patient she was discharged from the practice's services for patient "interfering with the doctor-patient relationship". Refused any contact by pt with her doctor, would not give doctor message. Left pt. with much needed lab work & needed meds. She still has no doctor because of being too sick to find one. Is this a complaint on the doctor or what to do about the receptionist and conspiring nurse?

Non competes I read were no longer legal to enforce.

Doesnt matter because non compete clauses are illegal and unenforcable per the US federal supreme court as of late 2023

While on the topic: Unless you're responsible for critical and secret components of a company's business, non competes should not be enforceable. How is a medical practitioner a potential vulnerability to a hospital were they to move to their competitor?

This should be illegal across the board. You have every right to go to a competitor with better wages, and benefits, or doctores practicing medicine for a different hospital.

That is just a few hundred dollars more then E&O insurance for Medicare insurance agents.
