At 15:17 in the video, Pastor Jeff said this: “God … doesn’t want my religious activity; He wants my heart… He wants our heart more than He wants our religious activity.” Indeed, God does what the "heart" of those who believe in Him. But God also wants "all thy soul, and … all thy mind, and … all thy strength” (Mark 12:30). Which is to say: Jesus wants His followers to Love and Serve God with a complete and whole effort; which includes a humble and broken “heart,” as well as faithful “strength” of action-physical deeds done by the "strength” of one’s body. For example, in the parable of the Sheep and the Goats, faithful actions accomplished through the "strength" of the body, are done by the "righteous" who shall go "into eternal life"-those who have fed the hungry, clothed the naked, and visited the sick or in prison (Matt. 25:42-46). I assume Pastor Jeff is discounting "religious activity," because of his interpretation of the Apostle Paul's words: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; … Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Eph. 2:8-9). This passage is traditionally interpreted to mean: Human Action plays no role in bringing about salvation by "grace." Here's the problem with that interpretation: First, this interpretation does not have “two or three witnesses” (2 Cor. 13:1; Matt. 18:16) from any of the other New Testament prophets. Second, this traditional interpretation-asserted many centuries ago-contradicts the teachings of both Jesus and James. How so? The following teachings of Jesus involve Human Action in order to accomplish them, and these Human Actions lead to being “saved” and entering “into the kingdom of heaven”- 1) “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matt. 7:21). 2) “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved” (Mark 16:16). 3) “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved” (Matt. 10:22). These Human Actions must be done, in order to be "saved" and "enter into the kingdom of heaven." Further, add to these three teachings, the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats where Human Actions of Loving the “least of these” thru the “strength” of one’s body, results in gaining "eternal life" (Matt. 25:46). The assumption that Human Action plays no role in bringing about salvation is also contradicted by 12 verses in the 2nd Chapter of James-Bible verses that define an active Faith in Jesus Christ, as opposed to a passive, “dead” Faith: 1) “If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not [good] works, is dead, being alone” (James 2:15-17). 2) “Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my [good] works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without [good] works is dead?” (James 2:18-20). 3) Ye see then how that by [good] works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without [good] works is dead also” (James 2:24-26). And why is this definition of Faith important? Because Paul taught: "For by grace are ye saved through faith" (Eph. 2:8). And the Apostle confirmed: "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have ACCESS BY FAITH into this GRACE [emphasis added] wherein we stand" (Romans 5:1-2). Therefore, expressing Faith in Jesus Christ IS how we "access" saving Grace! And clearly a Faith that "is dead" (James 2:17, 20, 26) cannot access saving Grace! So, what did Paul mean when he wrote: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; … Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Eph. 2:8-9)? Paul clarified what he meant by the phrase "Not of works" in two epistles he wrote before his epistle to the Ephesians (A.D. 60-62). We simply need to find the passages where Paul spoke of "boasting" and of “works.” Here is one of Paul’s clarifications: In his epistle to the Galatian saints (written A.D. 55-57), Paul taught that it was those who followed the Law of Moses, who were prone to “boast,” that they might “impress” others. Paul wrote: “Those who want to IMPRESS [emphasis added] others by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may BOAST [emphasis added] about your circumcision in the flesh. May I never BOAST [emphasis added] except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Gal. 6:12-14 NIV). Before writing his epistle to the Ephesians (A.D. 60-62), Paul wrote to the Romans (A.D. 57-59), and in this earlier epistle, Paul spoke of “works” and of “boasting.” “To demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works [of Moses]? No, because of the law that requires faith [in Jesus]. For we maintain that a person is justified by faith [in Jesus] apart from the works of the law [of Moses]” (Rom. 3:26-28 NIV). Therefore, in Ephesian 2:8-9 the Apostle Paul's phrase "Not of works" means: Not of the works of the law of Moses, lest any man should boast. Then, to draw a contrast between the Dead Works of the Law of Moses-by which some Jews boast-and the Living Works of the "law of faith" (Romans 3:27)-this is why Paul wrote the following, immediately after the verses that is commonly misinterpreted: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto GOOD WORKS [emphasis added], which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" (Eph. 2:10). Note in verse 9, Paul spoke of “works,” and then, in verse 10, he spoke of “good works.” This was to contrast the works of the law of Moses, compared to the good works of the law of faith in Jesus Christ. The former having nothing to do with the Lord's New Law of Faith, and therefore, nothing to do with accessing grace (Rom. 5:1-2). Both Jesus and His Apostle Paul declared a vital standard by which believers can correctly interpret God’s Truth: “In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established” (2 Cor. 13:1; Matt. 18:16). By what the Savior taught, and the 2nd witness of His Apostle James, God "established" that faithfully walking in "good works" not only shines the light of the Lord (Matt. 5:16), but also glorifies God (1 Pet. 2:12)-and such Faithful Walking is the outward manifestation of our inner Faith in Christ. This Gospel Truth explains why God judges the inhabitants of the earth by Human Actions which are outwardly manifest-specifically, whether we have "done good" or have "done evil" (John 5:29). God judges humanity and “every man according to their works" (Rev. 20:12-13). Jesus confirmed that Belief and Faith in Him, are inseparable from Following Him. The Savior said: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also" (John 14:12 NKJV). Therefore, Love, Faith, and Truth are not merely thought or spoken, they are also done: "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who DOES THE TRUTH [emphasis added] comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God” (John 3:20-21 NKJV). On the theme of Faith and Love manifest by Human Action, the Apostle Paul added his witness: "For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working by love" (Gal. 5:5-6 NKJV). Also, the Lord taught that “love” works by faithful obedience. Jesus said: “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). Further, such faithful obedience results in “eternal salvation.” As the Apostle Paul taught: "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Heb. 5:8-9). This doctrine declared by Paul, is yet another witness that contradicts the common interpretation of "For by grace are ye saved through faith; … Not of works" (Eph. 2:8-9)-which is traditionally interpreted to mean that Human Action plays no role in accessing Salvation. As demonstrated in the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats, charity given to “the least of these” is not merely manifest by thoughts or spoken words-or by pure intentions-but also by faithful Human Action, done with all heart, soul, mind, and strength. And Jesus promised "eternal life" to those who manifest such Charity. ❤🙏

A day on the original Hebrew calendar begins from sunset to sunset. Jesus did indeed celebrate passover with his disciples, Jesus didn't lie. Jesus's death was 3pm the same day as the passover lambs were being slaughtered for the Orthodox passover which was celebrated on the wrong day a day later against the Torah's commandment. Also in israel, a lamb was sacrificed twice a day, the later sacrifice was always at 3pm. To say the last supper was not the Passover is a false statement!. . .read the Torah.

Nope. HaP'rushim were keepers of the law. The day was correct. Yeshua could not keep and be the passover. I thought like you did for many years. After over 24 years of the Messianic Jewish Halakha (life walk), now I have lived the feasts and know the customs.

@marcusdenning8468 The Saudicees and the Pharisees were following traditions of men. This was a friction between Messiah and the politicians of Israel in that time! I can prove they were keeping the wrong day for Passover. Read the Torah.

Jesus was crucified midweek as stated in Daniel, So on Wednesday he died, was removed from the cross before High Sabbath (Passover Day) before Sunset. At sunset it was Thursday, all shops closed on Passover Day. On Friday, shops were busy open for the woman to buy burial items, but were gone all day in the crowds so it was now the weekly Sabbath at sunset. They could not go to his grave on Saturday. So they had to go on Sunday Morning when the sun rose. -- What time did Jesus rise from the grave??? This is not a joke. A day begins at Sunset according to God. Jesus rose at Sunset at the beginning of the 4th day. This is how we get three nights and three days into his timeline. --- Most people don't realize there are 2 Sabbaths during that week.

Finally someone else who is historically informed 🙌🙏 we can look at the chronology in the Gospels compared to the dates of Sabbaths in the Hebrew lunar calendar back to 31AD

absolutely correct, yet the world fooled by satan can't even observe that if he died Friday at 3pm to rise on Sunday morning say 6am that's only 33 hrs. yet somehow this world can't figure this out, the most important event ever, and the people who celebrate this event deny the word of God and believe satan.. this shows clearly how he decieves the world with his lies how he discredits God almighty with lies like evolution, a spinning ball of water traveling 49 million miles a day through the universe, and so many more pathetic lies that people will believe because their government told them to. Believe Christ and live. eat drink, sleep and breathe the Word of God.. seek the truth and God will indeed give it to you as promised.

Something very important not in the (4th gospel) but in the gospel of Saint John the apostle this man didn’t mention is that Jesus said to his apostles is they must take and eat HIS flesh and HIS blood! John 6:53 Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Here Paul speaks of the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist!! Tradition of the Institution. 1 Corinthians 11:23 For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread, 24 and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes. 27 Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily will have to answer for the body and blood of the Lord. 28 A person should examine himself, and so eat the bread and drink the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself. You can’t eat and drink judgment upon yourself if this is only symbolic! Keep the love and peace

brother, eating and drinking example was given when he was told to take the book and eat it, symbolically take the word of God and eat it, drink it, sleep it, and breathe it..hear what God is saying to you.. hear him tell you the pope is the antichrist, the jesuit general is the false prophet, the rcc is the whore of babylon, if you hear the word of God you will understand these things.. the world listens to satan so they are thouroghly deceived. study like a berean so your eyes may open and your ears may hear. God bless

lol. No you go read it again because he’s not wrong. I know you haven’t read them side by side or you wouldn’t have said what you said. And it isn’t some secret code you have to unlock to determine it. One says one thing and the other says something else. Who was all at the tomb? Did the dead rise up and walk the streets? Did they go to Egypt or not after the birth? And who was it the ate the show bread with David? Samuel and Mather don’t agree on this. I can tell you follow tradition and Ken in pulpits

Fun fact, the time he is giving is not what is given the way he states. The time they came to the city is stated not the time they ate the meal. It would have been understood when the meal was. Professing to be wise they became fools.

Not according to John. Those two gospels disagree on the day. Go read them. Side by side. Two books. Not only that been in all 4 there are different people at the tomb. Were they inside the tomb or outside the tomb when the messengers came? Who was all there? Did the dead rise up and roam the streets? You’ve been programmed not to question it and that’s by men. God did not program you to not question things. If it was the truly I speed word it would all agree and it doesn’t. Who was the priest that ate the show bread with David? Mathew says one thing but Samuel says another. Did they go to Egypt after the birth? Luke seems to not think that in fact it says they stayed. What you have to do is read them side by side. Read paragraph by paragraph side by side you’ll see all the difference.

@@joeywilliams2675 that’s the point I’m making. It is not a contradiction it’s just written differently. Like if I said, “In November I moved to Florida. I had this golf tournament there and it was great.” Then in another account I said “I had this golf tournament in December and it was great.” That’s not a contradiction because the timeframe in the first could refer to the moving to Florida or to the tournament. Here’s a breakdown of this particular gospel disagreement. ruclips.net/user/live-GAGA9wnJ7k?si=6GQjJAxX55RlefU5
