The word legend is throwing around too much nowadays, but that man was a through LEGEND. I was born in the sixties, never saw him play, but he's my all time sporting hero. My late father, a Thurles man, idolised him, and instilled that in me growing up.

I hope Wexford people know that their team in the 50's were heroes in many parts of Ireland and not just in Wexford.
