Had the pleasure of hearing you the day before premiere, while walking with the student campers to ensemble - and you were repeatedly practicing those upward arpeggios (before they were muted for effect) while sitting outside one of the building entrances. Didn't matter when you nailed it, it was clear that you were about nailing it repeatedly and leaving no doubt. Congrats on an absolutely amazing summer of performances!!

I'd like to start off by saying to you in particular that you were amazing. This was a truly wonderful show, and such a blessing to see live. Your talent for trumpet truly shows, and I genuinely hope that you continue trumpet, because if you didn't, it would be a wasted talent on your part. Don't not play. You're really good. Never forget that. Second, some peers in my schools' band watched you guys perform live, and it was THE shit. The visuals were amazing to see in real life, and it was honestly super badass. I'm actually in love with Bloo. It's a bittersweet love, too. You guys use an easier marching technique than a HIGH SCHOOL BAND. A DRUM CORPS uses an easier technique than a high school band!! But I'm still in love. Yet another wonderful year for you, and a 100% deserved victory. We actually stole some of your visuals for this year. I would like to emphasize the "some" because high school students can only do so much when there is a new class of freshman each year.
