Look inside yourself, but watch out for the bottom. Brother you are making the fallacious assumption that "serving others" and "having your own life/desires" are mutually exclusive. If you only lived for others then you couldn't take care of yourself, and you wouldn't be able to help others. Does a surgeon get paid for his work, to help people? Your goal should be helping others, making the world a better place, while also taking care of your own physical, intellectual and emotional needs. Real men can do it all. I wish you luck.

I feel like due to the early onset of a modernised paradigm, the disparate ideas between gaming and real life has caused us to live vicariously through games. Especially during the early days of gaming when it was considered a new technology it was viewed as wonderful and amazing however as humans eventually become numb to prolonged exposure gaming becomes similar to work. That's why nostalgia for games is such a strong emotion as it provides with us a time where we weren't numbed by generous graphics, our dopamine receptors weren't shortened by tiktok, reels or shorts and we as a species could find interest in any and everything.
