This is a great question! So I’m assuming you’re seeing that you’d be able to premiere draft MID while you could Quick Draft MOM. Besides the sets, the biggest difference is that Premiere drafts you draft you cards with humans drafters while Quick drafts you draft your cards with computers. Also the prize structure for Premiere is slightly better than Quick (you need less wins to get your money back). In all honesty, drafting on Arena is the best way to grow your collection so I’d say that if you’re looking for specific cards (or important rare dual land cycles) I’d pick the draft format you’re most drawn to. In this case it’s Premiere MID, so take the slow lands and don’t sleep on decayed and disturb cards.

@@Zarbon000That’s true they do have the resources to know, but sometimes these flashback drafts are played by people that missed it the first time and they don’t do any research! Also humans tend to pass rares they have play sets of while robots don’t.

Since the cards will only be banned in Standard, you will still have them in your collection to play in other formats (Explorer, Historic). This way you get the wild cards plus play sets of the banned cards. Though this only works RIGHT BEFORE the ban goes live. Crafting them now wouldn’t yield any wildcards.

@@arenaregulars Oh I gotcha. Thanks. I only play Standard, and I'm missing cards that I want for that format. It's really hard to accumulate gold. I hate that I can't use the packs I earn to Draft 😪.

@@Zarbon000 Yeah it would be really sweet if you could save them to run your own drafts with friends. The potential is there! Just not put together. But I still like to dream.
