The oil leaks are normally due to the original pushrod seals breaking down, new ones dont do that.

I have this exact hydrovac on my 66 Dodge Travco Motorhome. It’s in a P300 chassis which was a dually ton and a half forward control vehicle. Thanks for a very informative video.

Hi there. I’m 27 yr old and don’t know anything about mechanical work at all….thanks to you I’ve been working on my 66 ford f100. I watched your video on replacing the flywheel on your old 65 f100! Your instructions have been on point and so far I’ve been having fun with the process…. I’ve got my tranny out and just finished torquing the last bolt on the Clutch pressure plate….I’m waiting on a rebuild kit to rebuild the transmission. Wanted to point it out to you that you’ve been a great help. Please keep up with the content!

You're doing good, you have a good coach helping you, idle the engine down when shifting gears and there's a lot to learn when you're around machinery.Good luck!

I appreciate the video. I just bought a truck with split rings. A friend made a big deal out of them and got me scared. I feel much better knowing that while my rims aren’t the best, they are not so dangerous. Once my spits ring rims are fully inflated and mounted, they should be safe, correct? My semi is so cool and will be hauling around a semi food truck trailer. There will be people walking around the truck. I just don’t want to have problems.

From what I understand, once you get a few miles on the wheels they should be set for the life of the tires. Have fun with the truck and trailer and of course be safe!

A dummy getting blown in the air? That is too graphic for RUclips? People like you are the reason everyone conform to the suppression of speech balls absolutely no balls.

You need 1/2” diameter supply line to the air compressor . You also need an air compressor that will produce 15 CFM of compressed air . Well Done !

If the car rolls, put your breaker bar on so its handle is just about to touch the ground, then have a buddy roll the car forward or backward, depending on which side you're on, and let the engine break the lug loose for you.

plywood. Saabs use plywood. not MDF. not masonite. Saabs were BIG on plywood in the 70s. parts of seats were made of plywood on my 99 and early 900s

You might need an air compressor for that

Thank You! I know know my trailer has a 3 piece split rim and not the widdow maker. I do intend to replace the rims in time. I dont need that level of field recovery that these rims can provide. Glad a semi shop did my rims and tires!

I think the tire technology has also enabled single piece wheels.

NEXT TIME use Viton O-rings on your push rod tubes. Viton is good for high temperatures and do not harden or become brittle causing leaks. You snapped one in your video and the Viton stays flexibly.

It’s so nice to see a young man learning by his mistakes, its the best way as you’ll won’t forget, as an retired aircraft engineer now into my 70’s that also started like you did back in the 60’s , it’s also a great feeling when you achieve your goal ie when you realise what was wrong and sorted it, well done and don’t forget we all started somewhere and move forward in our knowledge! Well done 😀😀👍
