I test the KOORUI GN02 27inch 240 hz. Overall thoughts and review: I have had it for about a year, and it has served me well. Cheers for adding links aswell in bio. champ
for the overclocking part and fan part, does this work with laptop ?
Yeah, it should work for a laptop, but I suggest underclocking the cpu especially when it’s a laptop and adjust the fan curve to more lenient and more forgiving as laptops will have less air flow than a desktop pc. So I suggest keeping the fan speed to a minimum of 30 percent or off, if the laptop can handle it. Let me know if you need anything else.
@@andyyu217 Oh ok thanks !
this actually improved my fps
Glad I could help, what specs is your pc?
W vid W vid
Thanks bro
Do you have issues with your mac overheating? I have the same mac, but the 13 inch version. I only have arc browser and outlook running, but its throttling at 90 C right now. The metal is so hot that I cannot even touch it.
I only find that my Mac gets hot when it’s rendering something like in davinci resolve, you should check if you have any background apps that are running and taking up resources, and I recommend setting a restart schedule every Sunday where the MacBook automatically restarts and closes all apps and background processes every week to clean itself every week essentially. That’s what I do, if all else fails, I recommend a full restart of the MacBook to factory settings. Let me know if you need help.
@@andyyu217 hm.. i restarted multiple times before this, and it didnt fix anything. But I restarted after reading your comment, and now the temps are back to normal. Wtf lol
@@andyyu217 Also, have you tried doing heavy editing on after efffects or davinci on the air? I have the base model one with 8 GB ram, and i feel it struggles quite a bit with after effects even though apple claims that 8GB on their system is equal to 16 GB on other systems.
@5cG001 lmao I don’t use my MacBook for heavy anything I have a pc for that, Apple saying that 8 gigs equal 16 gigs is just crazy talk, cause running brave browser takes up 70 percent of the 8 gigs in the system, rendering 4k vid on my MacBook Air did take 20 minutes and it did get hot. I haven’t tried after effects on it. I feel like it would of been a better deal if you could get the 16 gig m1 mac for the same price of the base m2 macbook or better yet just go for the pro version of the MacBook if you really need a Mac or build your own pc for the ultimate price to performance. Thanks for commenting.
@5cG001 lmao okay glad I could help.
what desk do you have?
I don’t know which desk it is but it is a desk from ikea, I am pretty sure it is a table top but I am using it as a desk
Clean setup 🔥
I like how minimalistic it is
Thanks bro I was going for the minimalistic look.
@@andyyu217 And the black vibe to it. Im trynna do the same with my setup as well
@Byndraa yeah I think the black vibe will work great for your set up too, let me know when you complete yours.
Amazing video and great spec comparison. Keep up the great work!
Thanks bro appreciate the support
can i touch u for a free PC?
Not happening
My base m2 vs my 16 gb 10 core dell pc are not even close. My PC can’t handle my dj equipment and the Mac runs it all with no issues. Plus you can’t compare a 16 gb pc to a 8 gb Mac. With my two laptops the m2 8gb runs the same or faster and out performs in every task. The worst part about pc is windows it is terrible and the drivers never perform constantly need updates. Mac just works not extra setup BS like windows. Good video though just giving my opinion.
Yeah I get what you mean, to debloat windows takes at least 30 minutes and to optimize everything takes longer. Mac needed little to no debloating and things do just work. Appreciate your opinion though.
poopoo booboo
Bro remove the piano music and explain while showing the screen .that will be more engaging
the bgm is fine, but do agree talking over the screenshots is better than just talking about it later!
Yeah lmao maybe I should of, to be honest I repeated the tests like ten times and recorded the cinebench scores using a phone on a tripod, but I decided that just taking a screen shot of the results would be better. Next time I’ll do more voiceovers, thanks for your constructive criticism.

Clean Setup I LIKE IT
Thanks bro I am grateful for your support.
Nice review! What do you recommend for a 24 inch alternative to this monitor that is also as affordable?
I am currently testing the acer nitro XFA253Q Zbiipr and it is 24.5 inches 1080p. The pixel quality is noticeably better since it is a smaller panel and the image quality is better. I am not sure about response times and ghosting cause I did not test that out yet. But from first impressions, the acer monitor is also a good budget monitor.
@@andyyu217 thanks dude!
I just bought a rtx 4060 why do I have 52W in idle ?
Im pulling 54 watts idle on my desktop for my gpu, I think your fine don’t worry about it, just worry if the temps get above like 100 degrees or something.

What are those clamped things at both ends of your table?
They’re called desk extenders and they extend my desk space. I can’t find the original amazon link that I got them from but here is one that is bigger than the one I have and is essentially the same thing: amzn.to/3Vl0pQt
I love your minimal setup, very clean indeed.

getting the cheap one was prob pcpartpicker forums advice, no?
I think you’re just one of the unlucky ones. A cheap PSU can still be the way to go.
yeah I have cheap power supplies that still work
Damn 🔥🔥🔥
I luckily never had to learn the lesson the hard way, i looked up a lot of pc building info to learn that its never worth cheaping out on the psu because the risk when something goes wrong, is enormous, which can kill multiple components of the build
Yeah I had cheap power supplies before but they were still good
is voltage spike high or minimum ?
I got no clue, I had cpu undervolted and gpu stock
I cheaped out on my daughter's PSU, we recently had a power surge...now I need a PSU AND a graphics card, luckily her MOBO was o.k....I feel your pain FR.
Damm I’m sorry to hear that happened, thank god the psu didn’t take out any of my components
I am getting dizzy, and my neck hurts. 😵💫

Got what you asked for LOL
Lmao yeah I had it coming, it was working for months and then it just stopped working
Apply the guarantee, then sell the replaced unit
What’s the guarantee? Is it the warranty?
currently living on a 850W PSU i got used for 15€, original price was also just 50€ :)) no issues so far..
Damm, that’s a steal, yeah some power supplies are cheap but good as well, I think I just got unlucky, I’m glad to see that you didn’t face any problems
@@andyyu217 yeah, I hope it continues that way 😅 once I get money I'll try find an upgrade
no details? which psu, how much watts are you pulling?
cheap ass psu alr?
It was a sfx 450 watt power supply and I was using 4060 plus 5600x with it, 5600x was undervolted and the gpu wasn’t overclocked, so I was not pulling above 450 watts. It was a bronze rated psu so that can probably explain a lot.
@@iskiiwizz536 yeah it was cheap compared to other sfx power supplies
@@andyyu217.... I still remember an itx youtuber gave the tips of not neglecting the heat output of sfx psu. I'm using a gold one even then it's pretty warm, bronze is kinda silly for itx.
@@bing-chilling1713 yeah I should of done more research, I was in a hurry to get itx pc cause it just looked really cool
It only takes one blown PSU to never buy a cheap one again. I always go a little overboard with mine now.

Nice, clean setup man. Koorui monitors ftw.
Yeah koorui makes such good monitors for the money
@@andyyu217 for sure. Colour accuracy is just as important as refresh rate & response time to me so finding out about Koorui was great cause as you said, their stuff is incredible for what they charge. I personally don't care too much about fancy in built features too much & I'm not too big on the OLED craze that's been going around lately.
RUclips has a button you can press to rotate the video
im kinda dumb idk where that is
I bought a cheap PSU in 2003 for my Athlon XP 3200 plus. It caught fire. Since then I always spend the money on something that's better than average.
Sorry to hear that bro, that sounds dangerous, I’m grateful that didn’t happen to me. Im also going to spend the extra money to get a better power supply from now on too.
@@andyyu217 I still have the right as an ornament 21 years later! I also once pulled the sound card out of my computer while it was switched on while building my dream system. Took out £1000 quids worth of stuff in about 2005. I'm a lot more careful now.
