After three years in tech, I started experiencing anxiety, which led to a wake-up call in March 2022 when I visited the ER for high blood pressure. While working on my thesis about coping with anxiety, I discovered pottery as a calming hobby.
I began my ceramics journey with a weekly beginner class at a community school in Northern California. The focus and slow, deliberate movements of pottery turned each session into a meditative and fulfilling experience.
Now, I create videos that offer a glimpse into the process behind my work.

👻 Turning Wobbly Clay into Spooky Ceramic Pumpkins on the Wheel | Making Ceramic Pumpkins with me 🎃
With spooky season just around the corner, I’m really pumped to create some sustainable pumpkins that I can use to decorate my space for years to come! I dove into working with porcelain clay, as you can see it was pretty wobbly! But instead of tossing it aside, I got creative and used some altered techniques to shape the pumpkins. I even played around with two different glaze combinations, and I have to say, the final results turned out pretty awesome! I was a bit shy about calling this a full tutorial since centering the clay was a challenge for me, but I’m excited to share this whole process with you. Wishing you all a Happy Halloween-let’s enjoy this spooky season together!
