You have to take the two screws out of the back and pop the back cover off. The stopwatch takes a 2032 lithium battery.

I cannot recall the splits on this watch. I believe it has to do with the fact the split number is blinking, but I can't seem to reset it. Any ideas?

Durability of buttons? Time AND movement studies can be agressive on them
I notice that Sunday, Friday and Saturday blink, but I'm not aware these have anything to do with a stop watch function. Can you explain how to turn those off because they are visually annoying.
After many years of daily beeping, I finally figured out how to turn off the @#$* alarm on my Sportline 220 stopwatch. Hopefully this will help someone else: - Press "Mode" (middle button) to enter time/date mode - Press and hold "Split" (left button) - Press "Start" (right button) several times. It cycles through a combo of 2 display icons: "date" and chime. - Keep pressing "Start" until both icons are off. - Release "Split"

Any way to turn off the single beep when starting and stopping time?
But you can't recall the splits after the race is over. If 3 runners finish a 100m really close together, you can't hit split 3x, then recall the splits later to see all their times.
I just replaced the battery and the display is completely blank. Is there some kind of reset procedure like on my Casio watch?

Time will not set. I can change to the correct time but once I hit the middle button it doesnt stay at the correctly changed time. It goes back to the same time it said when I pulled it out of the package, which is about 45 minutes earlier than the actual time.

I was shocked this watch came with no manual. A manual is basic and it did not come with one.

You can't set the time on that.
Same thing with my 494, there is no Pacer function. Also, it does not show your last lap time after you press the Stop button. It shows you the total running time, then you have to subtract it manually from the previous time.
