What stock is that?
🥺😭 that poor Kimber.. invest in a few plastic pry tools dude.. i was cringing watching you pry that bushing off 🫣😬😮💨
Should I do this?
When she died the average IQ of Congress went up 10 points.
Solution in search of a problem. But that’s most of cartridge development.
Nope the 9 is here to stay. They said the same thing when it came to the 40 vs 9. People stuck to their 9 and you have a lot of folks who love their 40. I do think other manufacturers and people will get on board with the 30sc. It comes down to what a person is comfortable with.
I thought they were 500 grains?
Damn savage with the metal on metal!!!! 😢 made me tear up a lil!!!! 😂
I have done it with ejector removal. If this works? Will make life easier
How is this Kimber running today and have you shot hollow points out of this gun if so how did it run?
If more manufacturers produce smaller guns that are chambered in it and the price of the ammo goes down, it could for concealed carry.
l don't believe it will be replacing 9mm any time soon. It is more expensive than 9mm , also it doesn't have many advantages that worth get less punch , for only 2 or 3 more bullets, recoil is a little less with 30 carry. I just bought a mp shield plus , l had an option 30 carry 50,00 tiper than 9mm ,but l am old school l preferred mp shiel plus 9mm.
Your wrong same velocity. Also the 40. Cal was created to replace the 10mm not the other way around.
I don’t believe it will replace or even viably compete with the 9mm but if the recoil can be managed it may compete with the 380
Wish they would make some fucking guns for it
Shield
They are attempting to ban the AR-15 because there are a ton of folks who have them, and if they succeed in banning them, they will have effectively cut a giant piece of the gun grabber pie off and into the trash. It is a way to remove a huge number of guns from the populace all at once. From there, they get rid of AK'S & any other "scarry" guns using the same rhetoric, chipping away more and more until we are "manageable" for tyrannical takeover. They want us gone when we are no longer useful to them, and with the field of AI & robotics growing so rapidly, they will soon deem us useless and a nuisance to the agenda. Eugenics is a big part of the plan, but guns make that difficult. Sitting ducks are easier to dispose of than lions, tigers and bears ("oh my!").😅
What buttstock is that?
Only way it’ll compete with 9mm they have to sell the ammo cheaper than 9mm
What trigger is that?
Damn
What BCG is that?
Aluma is ok… My opinion…Has sheen, goes on thicker than others. It also bubbles up with clear coat added wich is bizarre.. chemical reactions?
Doesn’t there need to be a mag in for it to lock back?
No
@@cliffordmontana4562 my MC9 will not lock back with no mag in for some reason. The new recoil spring didn’t help much. I’m lost for other options on fixing it
FBI info is reversed. They wanted to replace 9mm with 10mm but due to excessive recoil they decided on 40sw until the mid 2000s when it was replaced by 9mm since loads have improved since the days of the 10mm trials.
For my 40 S&W, I have a spare barrel for 357 SIG. so i also stock up on 357sig, which isn't extremely popular, so i dont have to buy another gun to shoot different ammo calibers.
I’m loving my 16 + 1 capacity
At this point in time I don’t think 9mm can be replaced. That market is full of 9mm guns but it’s always nice to see soemthing new and innovative
125 years is pretty stable
didn't they say that about the 45?
Who said it was here to replace 9?
Great background music choice
no it will not replace 9mm
Your degreasing needs to be a little better. On the scope you can see bubbling. I just watched the long vid and you need to wear gloves before degreasing w acetone. It takes a long time. Also this paint is not the best for assembled guns.
Good video, easy on the Coffee next time.😊
I actually have essential tremors. It comes and goes but doesn't stop me from doing anything. If I try to hold something still in a heightened state, the shaking can be more obvious.
My 30sc is my favorite gun
I hope more manufacturers make it. There is no reason there should be more 380s than 30 supers
Great info!
Thanks!
Replace no. Compete with yes
Any issues with hollow points? I ask because I have one in order, and I just seen a bunch of ramp issues videos 🤣 So, I am nervous lol 🤣
Not so far. I think there are a lot of people that skip break in. The spring was super stiff when I got it. Was really difficult to lock the slide back. It has gotten better, especially after leaving it locked back in my safe for a couple days.
@@HotLeadNHardware got mine tested with hollows, the ramp polish now extend to the bottom. The new ones don’t have the ledge at the bottom. So it ran the. Flawlessly out of the box.
9 rounds in a 1911 10mm mag is normal. Tripp Research sells 10 rd 10mm 1911 mags. Also the same with 9mm 1911 mags holding 10 rounds. Now ya know.
Thanks. It just surprised me when they said only 8, and 9 went in so easy. 😂
Ha! Is this for real? It cant be this easy. I cant wait to try it!
It was. I was really surprised everyone was disabling their bolt carrier for this.
@HotLeadNHardware - I wasn't able to do it with my fat hands. My friend was able to do it for me first try. Thank you for posting this
What gas block do u have on that?
That is the riflespeed adjustable gas block. I plan to get a suppressor and wanted something easy to adjust between suppressed and not.
Have you shot this Kimber yet if so how did it run straight out the box?
I did. I read there would be a break on period, but I had no malfunctions other than one that was my fault. I bumped the safety on, just a hair, while adjusting my grip and it stopped firing and the slide would not open. Took a minute to figure out what it was.
@@HotLeadNHardware ok Thanks
What handguard
It's from STNGR. Believe it is the HWK m-lok
Good video keep up the good work.
Thanks. I appreciate it.
I refused to use my Google account to register my last purchase. The record will always be in the info cloud somewhere
At this point, it's pretty tough for there not to be some record if you dont pay cash.
I think that prices will continue upwards until out of reach by common folk like me
It's even worse for the foreign ammo. 7.62 x 39 is 50+ cents a round. It's getting crazy again.
@@HotLeadNHardware I bought surplus long ago. same with 5.56. Now i only have a 5.56 bolt gun. the surplus still work though and sks doesnt use too much ammo.
Question: "How much ammo should I stockpile in order to maintain an adequate reserve?" Answer: "Yes"
I would say "All of it" but that works too
I guess that depends on how often you do range days. I would have at least 1000 rounds per weapon. I keep that amount per rifle and pistol I own on hand. But I range day a lot so there's that.
What if I like shooting 22 and 40 handguns the most do I just leave the gun community? Oh and my 300blk doesn’t have an ir laser or suppressor should I just disappear? Wait…I don’t have plates either. Oh god what do I do? Should I rob a bank or are there other options? Thanks.
I know you are likely joking, but in all seriousness you do what you enjoy and can afford. Some folks are far more serious than others when it comes to protecting themselves and preparing for the worst. I lend my opinion but don't judge anyone for going a different way or thinking it is wrong. I'd rather have someone by my side that is an expert with 40 S&W than a kitted out LARPer that never fired their guns.... That is unless I am looking to get "Gently used" equipment. :)
Nice video and the uncommon round idea is different. Also you speak just fine theirs CC … use it and read to refresh you mind.
Thanks. I'm still learning to edit it all correctly. I hate the videos that blow your ears out and overcompensated apparently.
I have most of what i need. 410 is very hard to find these days. 357 is very expensive
Yep, there are some really good rounds that are cost prohibitive. Last I checked my 45-70 rounds were almost $2 each. It doesn't help that reloading supplies have also gotten expensive.
Thanks. Just learning about head space today
Hope it helped. Disassembling the bolt carrier is kind of a pain, so when I figured this out I thought I would share. Never saw anyone else do it this way.
Next one will be a sandw
“Hit it with some citristrip” became a joke in my house at one point. I would mess up my paint, strip it, and start over. Still do it sometimes when I want a new vibe lol
