There is an alternative to extraterrestrials. It is a group of smart humans who broke away from the main stream many thousands of years ago and put their faith in the acquisition of knowledge. They are now well advanced, but continue to share the Earth with us and are prepared to do so providing we don't make it uninhabitable. Imagine what they may know by now if they started reverse engineering nature about the time of the Younger Dryas with out the constraints imposed by religions.

@Truth-X1 It is something I have been thinking about for a number of years, but I have not seen any other references to it. I have no idea if it is true or if extraterrestrials are also here. However, it can be fun trying to replicate the thought experiments these guys may have carried out.

They didn't exactly "vanish without a trace". All were found and left dozens of traces behind. It's pretty much solved. SPOILER. Got hit by a snow slab, cut their way out, with the tent buried and slashed they sought shelter in the woods, made a fire, got burnt, two passed, others took their clothes. 3 tried to get back to tent to retrieve gear, died on the way up, remaining 3 died in the ravine. Cause of death in all cases was hypothermia. Is this still a mystery? Do people still think it was a yeti attack?

Various injuries Without clothes Skin turned orange Barefoot Tent cut from inside Body parts missing It appears some type of parasite infected them all before they entered the asent site, creating a form of hysterical reaction. Start with the last civilization and what and who they shared.
A parasite? 🪱 Interesting theory..but where did it go? The post mortem reports of the deceased make no mention of any parasites inside the bodies.
The official russian investigation into the incident concluded an avalanche as the cause of the deaths. However, the evidence doesn't seem to stack up. What do you think? Freak avalanche or government cover up? Let me know
