The Secret to a Killer SP-404 Live Beat Set: Pizza Party!
My homie was planning to do a beat night at the The Ambassador, a local Pizza place here in Toronto, so I had to cook up something special-pizza-inspired beats straight off the SP-404 MK2.The idea hit me while digging through old Italian soundtracks. I used some Korean records, some German and Jamaican records as well. I flipped those flavors into a set full of saucy loops, rugged drums, and extra cheesy vocal stabs you expect. Plus I wanted to pay homage to some of my favourite Pizza Spots in Toronto. Shout outs to Amato, Gigi's, Conzo, Ricci's and RIP to The Big Slice.

昔、関西のクラブにAGが来た時、KENSAW先生がこのレコード持ってきててAGがライブし終わった瞬間にレコードのジャケット見せて「この曲やれへんの？」って感じで言ったらAGが「それはやらねーよ」みたいな感じではけていったのを見ました。たぶんMURO先生のビートが良すぎて悔しかったんだと勝手に思っています。
