I am no zoologist, so can somebody please explain!: what is the relation between the watch design & colorways, and the Philippine eagle?? If anything, those look a lot more like Manok colors… -Confused Seiko fan
Nevermind I listened far enough into the video (despite the very poor audio) and I heard the explanation. that said…. I’m still skeptical. I’ve never heard nor seen of this supposed red reflection off of the plumes of the Philippine eagle. If someone with first-hand experience can vouch for this, please speak up !
@@pushslice there's some truth to their claim. i visited the "eagle farm" in malagos, davao city several times and the davaoeno sun does play w/ the feathers of those predators giving it a brownish-reddish shimmer at an angle. personally though, i prefer the tubbattaha limited ed more .
Seiko (and Grand Seiko) produces a dial first and then comes up with a random nature "inspiration", that can be different based on the country they are trying to sell their product.
@@relojeroschat I hate to be pessimistic but I think there is some truth to what you’re saying. Creative minds can overcome many hurdles ;-)

No worry as long there is an SKX case from EBAY..namokies..DLW..Watch plaza and crystal times we can create our own skx with NH36 Machine which is better than that advertised. That seiko 5 is not a screw down crown therefore that is no longer a dive watch.
