@@eliselewis I have found some of my most complimented clothes, like coats, at thrift stores. Feels good to be complimented by stuff that cost little when so many people spend big money on material things. Interesting. So, are you looking to be a mental health counselor someday or a minister role?

@ghostmalones Actually neither roles! Biblical counseling is essentially counseling using the Bible instead of psychology and understanding how to apply the Bible to our lives and solve problems. I am getting the undergrad alone (and not the Masters degree which would certify me to counsel professionally), so I hope to use my biblical counseling knowledge in a mentorship role or in whatever job/future I am in-wherever people are.

​@@eliselewis Interesting. That sounds very admirable. That you want to help people, wherever they need it, using the bible. I believe your work will be very important once you start it. =) What is one or some of your favorite passage(s) in the bible?

@ghostmalones Colossians 3:23 is a great life verse, but I love Ephesians and Philippians especially. Other passages that are encouraging are 1 Corinthians 10:13, Psalm 16, and Romans 12:1

I totally understand that haha😅 Shoot for a mostly capsule wardrobe and plan to rewear your dresses, skirts, and pants a lot. You will have dresser drawers, but you will not be able to bring all your clothes. Also prioritize clothes that can double as layering pieces. This question is hard to answer, so maybe I’ll do a video on it someday, but lastly I’d recommend brining a mid-sized bin with pack your first 3 weeks of the next season change-depending on if you can travel home for breaks. [AKA start in the Fall so pack your winter coat(s) and your thickest sweaters OR for spring semester pack your tank tops/ summer dresses and extra sandals in the bin] Hope that was helpful!!☺️

@@eliselewis Thank you. I was thinking of buying some collapsible hangers to save room in the closet, so either I could use them, or whoever uses the majority of the closet could. I kind of wish I knew ahead of time who my roommates would be, so I could figure a few things out for the future. I'm supposed to be starting BJU in the fall of 2025

@@eliselewis Interesting…. Neutrogena worked best for me and making sure I used unscented laundry detergent and fabric softener. My clothes and pillowcase were making me break out when I was using Downy/Tide. I was also on Tetracycline for a while. You look beautiful either way-inside and out
