Pastor Jennings where I agree with you is if you take on the customs of the other nations you become a Gentiles. Joel 2:27 says that I am in the midst Israel and that I am the Lord your God and none else. Numbers 23:19 God is not a man that he should lie so when it says in the book Romans 3:28 is he the God of the Jews only? Is he not of the Gentiles? Yes of the Gentiles also: Jews are the southern kingdom and the northern kingdom was without Christ just like you said making them Gentiles.
