    I previously used Activator Methods (Basic & Advanced Certified) for years with "decent" results. Switched over to Zone Technique where I'm getting results that no Activator treatment can achieve like other Zone Doctors such as actually fixing knee, shoulder or other musculoskeletal conditions or even totally fixing gall bladder problems, heart conditions, anxiety, depression or almost any other health issue you can think of. If you really want to help people, check out Zone Technique and learn how to really heal the body.

    Here’s my advice on chiro. Find out if they do Gonstead. If they do .. don’t go there. Gonstead is this ”unproven theoretical science” that adjusting on 1 side can offset the spine to correct structure. There are no conclusive studies on it showing both sides adjusted vs 1 side only. It leaves you feeling lopsided and imbalanced. In theory it seems like it might work but it’s all bs. Only a small % of chiro do it as well so it’s not popular. Not adjusting both sides is bad. Tension based chiro on both sides is key. That’s where you locate areas that have tension or are not moving well and adjusting. Each area of the body stores toxins / pressure and inflammation that are adjusted to relieve them. If you don’t adjust an area those toxins / inflammation and movement will still be trapped in that area and go unchecked. Chiro care will not cure you just help you improve and maintain. Avoid wasting time and $$$ and ask. I got 1 recently that did Gonstead and now I’m getting another adjustment to fix the misalignment from this 1. It’s so awkward asking the chiro to adjust the other side and he refuses. I get adjusted like 2-3 months which is helps relieve migraines and maintain my back issues. Seen improvement over yrs. The reason I’m posting this is because I went to a new chiro to get a magic hug move I’d seen online. It went well but he refused to do both sides. I’m trying a better chiro soon to correct this adjustment. It doesn’t work for me to do 1 side only as I did it yrs ago by another chiro.

    • @alan-veucasovic
      @alan-veucasovic Год назад

      Here's my advice on this advice. Don't listen. I've seen nothing short of miracles from Gonstead practitioners. No one sized fits all adjustments, but specific adjustments for specific issues. Looking up a Chiropractor, you'll find non-Gonstead 99% of the time and the good Gonstead practitioners are busy all the time, because they solve issues that people have had, sometimes for years and other doctors and Chiropractors never fixed.

  • @hover_roller_balance_boards
    @hover_roller_balance_boards Год назад

    It’s all lies. Tension based chiro is the truth. If there’s any level of tension or range issues adjust and be thorough. Show me conclusive studies of a patient with same condition 1 adjusted 1 side only VS both sides over a yr. Leaving an area unadjusted keeps toxins / movement/ inflammation unchecked. I had Gonstead and it made me lopsided and inhibited my progress.. I got adjusted both sides and it started to get better. It’s a scam to make you keep coming as you don’t get better. Gonstead is all fake science that sounds good on paper yet doesn’t do anything to improve the balance. Trust I tried it and it’s worthless.

    “Chiropractic practice, begun in the late 1800s when D. D. Palmer established the first school of chiropractic medicine, is a fusion of osteopathic treatment and so-called magnetic healing (the notion that a vital force in each of us enables the body to heal itself). Chiropractic practitioners believe that articular subluxations can inhibit this vital force and, thereby, cause illnesses. Manipulation techniques are thought to correct such misalignments, enabling the vital force to flow freely and to cure the disease. By 1925, more than 80 chiropractic schools had been established, and, today, more than 60,000 chiropractors currently practice in North America. Over the decades, however, a clash of ideologies split chiropractics into two camps: Most practitioners have adopted the techniques and mechanistic viewpoints of traditional medicine, whereas a few adhere strictly to the basic tenets of vitalism that were advocated by Palmer. Regardless of this schism, the main concepts that underlie contemporary chiropractics are as follows: • A relation between the spine and health exists and is mediated by the nervous system. • Subluxations impair health. • Correction of subluxations by spinal manipulation improves health. In current chiropractic practice, patients generally are self-referred, predominantly for musculoskeletal disorders, and plain x-ray films commonly are used to diagnose subluxations. Unfortunately, research regarding the efficacy of chiropractic practices is limited, partly because the traditional chiropractic view is that research cannot reveal the truth of the vital force. To address the question of whether chiropractic therapy does more good than harm, the author provides an evaluation of eight systematic reviews in which the efficacy of spinal manipulation was investigated for a variety of medical conditions. The available data supported the use of spinal manipulation only for treatment of low-back pain and only for a select group of patients (Spine J 2006; 6:289). Research also showed that spinal manipulation is not without risk. In one study, mild-to-moderate side effects, such as pain, headache, and fatigue, were noted in 60% of patients (Man Ther 2004; 9:151). Also, in reviews of vascular accident data, 700 serious complications and 50 deaths were associated with manipulation of the upper spine (Am J Med 2002; 112:566 and J R Soc Med 2007; 100:330).”
