Welcome to our bamboo story!
Established in 2009, Asali Bali is focus on bamboo construction, incorporating traditional vernacular values and design detailing.
Our Mission is to build engineered, large-scale, designed bamboo constructions, within the framework of a professional, efficiently managed compagny.
Our Vision is to develop and promote the bamboo construction industry by engaging:
Highly skilled artisans from local communities, applying traditional Balinese knowledge base which persists to the present.
Engineered and cost-effective, technical bamboo solutions ensuring project success.
Proven sustainable and environmentally responsible, ecologically sound approaches to procurement, design, construction and aftercare.
The office team is structured according to marketing, technical, production and administrative departments.
Our production workshop is located in the village of Belega, Gianyar, in the heart of Bali’s traditional bamboo craft area.

Whimsical Garden - Hermes - Qatar
Asali Bali was commissioned for the bamboo installation, from the design to the construction on site, following the concept developed by Alexis Tricoire and Hermes.
The exhibition features large bamboo panels with fluid shapes to arrange the event area; these guide the visitor and provide physical support for the objects.
The structure has been built in our factory in Bali during 4 months by 20 bamboo craftsmen, shipped to Qatar and then installed onsite in 10 days in October 2022.

In the not-too-distant future, I hope to be moving to Bali with my Indonesian wife. I would very much appreciate to participate in such a workshop. Where can I sign up? Is there a sign-up form at the Asali Bali website?
My Indonesian wife and I will be moving to Bali from Washington State USA. I'd like to learn more about working with bamboo for structure Construction. (only to build my own home - of my own design) - I'm wondering if I could do some part-time work with your organization - or just stay out of the way and learn if you don't need any sort of help with anything. I'd maybe be willing to pay a small fee to be able to ask questions once in awhile at one of your job sites - in order to gain some knowledge about working with structural Bamboo. Might this be possible to any degree? - or at least on a trial basis? I have some construction experience with structural insulated building panels and stick framing type Home Building. But got into Construction kind of late in life - after driving logging and equipment hauling trucks for years - I'm 60 now, but still physically and mentally capable at Construction & Fabrication and very willing to tend to most Construction procedures & learn - what I don't yet know - although probably not as quickly as I used to. (Not sure if I could climb around on framing like I used to.) Other than that; please let me know if you lysing me or teaching me at any level is possible - I'd be willing to push a broom nearly all day "if need be" (just to learn more about bamboo.) I'll be moving to Bali with my Indonesian wife - can I be a part of this? Even if I have only to sweep the floors all day- just to be around such a place. I have a modular bamboo kit building design I'd love to have rendered in such a quality way -. If any of your CG modelers wants to hear of my design to render it (at no charge) - I'd be happy to divulge every innovative aspect of it - and also allow you to place it free of charge wherever in your virtual world you'd like.
