Getting to see Vanessa Torres session in the parking lot before the event started, you could tell she had the pop, the power and the grit, more than anyone other female there. She was fun to watch. Also, getting to sit with Lynn-Z's mom during her half pipe runs was a treat as well. She was only 14 at the time, but you could tell she had the tricks. Then became the first female to pull off a 540 McTwist in 2009. Hard to believe that was 20 years ago. Such a great weekend being a VIP guest and getting to hang with all the pros in the industry. Also getting to appear in Renee Renee's Slam City Jam Uncensored video from the Hastings Bowl session added to the surreal weekend of fun. Sick times.
