I got these about six months ago and have been sort of matching them to my distress inks because I use those the most. TFS.

Well now these sound like funn! Once you get the hang of how their system works, I bet it would be super easy to make your own color combos or at least understand why some combinations work well and where some need improvement. Thanks for sharing!

I must admit, when this was first released, my initial thought was, why wasn't it released about 12 months earlier? But then realised that the Colour Cube, which I also have, was probably the influencer for it's development. I felt that it answered those questions that the cubes posed but as I already had the cubes, I went, yup, no. Bottom line is that it's so much fun to play without having to waste anything like you would by making practice blocks with fabrics. That's one of the things I love about crafting as opposed to sewing. (Remember Beverley Cotton's books? I still have them somewhere. Can't say I've read them lately though!) The Cubes do have Prismacolour and Copic charts to accompany if you buy the whole shebang but you do have to print them out an you're limited to your printer's capabilities. Incidently, as a side note, there are acetate sheets (overhead sheets) that are ink jet printable now too. Heat resistant acetate will go through a laser printer and it's best to buy the Avery brand so that you don't have the problem of inferior quality sheets melting inside your printer. Do you follow Amy Shulke's channel? She is a great advocate of colour pencils alongside markers too. Thanks for sharing this, T, you're certainly going from strength to strength in this amazing crafting world.

I like the subtle pink that came with this kit. Your cards are great. I wouldn't have thought of gray colored confetti, but depending on the recipient, or the colors used on the card, it really works out well.

Such a fabulous kit. Those minty hearts are perfect for the cupcakes. I like how you decided to put the blue one up front, then you have blue in the background (card panel), blue in the middle ground (sentiment) and blue in the foreground (cupcake). 💙💙💙

Hi T, just a suggestion re your nails: I have always had very flaky nails until I started taking a calcium tablet a day. It needs to be the one with vitamin D (& E if possible) and the brand here is called Caltrate. Now, I HAVE to cut my nails every couple of weeks and I can turn screws with my thumb nails, they are so strong. It really is a great turnaround after all these years trying to hide my hands. Cathy Zilsky uses a nail magnet that she got from Amazon to pick up her dies and save her nails so that might be worth a try too. As I said, just a thought...
