I used AAA battery with foil only. Also, I have opened the mouse and removed all the unnecessary screws inside and outside of the mouse. I just keep some main screws to keep the mouse stable. Then, I cut off all the plastic pieces that were not necessary inside the mouse and the upper case. The last step is peeling off the Logitech stamp under battery Finally, I got 65 grams for my old G305, but the mouse looks very normal from the outside; no one knows that I have mod it. I do not recommend you to dig any hole on the mouse case because it make the mouse looks unclean, and dirt can get into the sensor easier

Don't use plastic adapter, just put tinfoil. Its cheaper and lighter. Next step is to get LITHIUM AAA battery. They are much lighter, and lasta WAYYYYYYY longer than traditional battery. They are more expensive too but, 100% worth it. Your mouse will probably die before the battery lol. Lithium battery + tinfoil ultimate lightweight

I got the 37mm version in the 11/11 sale. Really nice, no misalignment, no sharp edges, but sadly a faulty PT5000 movement. Returned it for a refund.
