I discovered that a few days ago, I tried and you can go from the floor to the very top of the highest mountain without ever droping on the floor or closing your parachute. 👌 Hope they don't remove it, it's very funny.
it's honestly one of the best parts of the game. I have friends just building up and i fly by them
If you hit them with a xeno basher it detonates the whole pile at once. I have a vid uploaded to my channel that shows how to take no damage while doing it. Basically you just put a conveyor down and a bunch of pulse nobelisk down under it and hit that. the conveyor blocks all damage but still gives you knockback. it works with nuke nobelisk (for some reason) aswell.

how did you get this mod to work I downloaded all the correct files but I have no idea where to put them to make the game work correctly I heard I was supposed to put them in the unreal tournament directory but I have the steam version and there is no directory unless I have no idea what a directory is either way I would appreciate some help lol
You need to install a secondary mod called OldSkool by Usaar(I think that's what their name was) You can find the resources needed for it on oldunreal.com or unrealsp.org Recommend asking there for better guidance. You can also get to the directory by right clicking the game on steam and go "Manage > Browse Local Files" Sorry for the very late reply, I do not keep track of RUclips much. I do hope you fixed it way before I ever replied.

Well you appear to be using God Mode and Unlimited Ammo, yet you're still afraid of a pathetic enemy.
That's the point, the bullsquid isnt supposed to be pathetic, it's supposed to be this aggressive menace that viciously charges at everything, even attacking it's own species.

I had something similar in Bill's town where just before the trap with Joel hanging upside down, the sunset lighting changes depending where you stand. Only place I've seen this happen.
that happened to me too in the same area, only place i’ve noticed it so far. i just started it recently so still playing through it seeing if it happens anywhere else
Honestly, I can't forget about these sounds...and I still don't get why they got replaced with the ones from UT99...
I played Unreal with these sounds, then Unreal Tournament with its sounds. When I bought Unreal Gold and heard UT sounds in the original game, it felt so out of place - I didn't know which game I was playing. The original sounds just belong to the game as they are part of the overall atmosphere.

personally most of the new sounds are the ones from UT Although the pistol fire and minigun fire are weak, but I prefer most of the old sounds.

WOW... you're a really talented mapper! If you need the original HUD with opposing force weapons, you need to mod the HL HUD back; however you'll still have green HUD. You'd need to modify the SDK source code to overcome these limitations, but if the OP4 source code is not public, it would be hard... Though now I see there are fan made replications of the OP4 code you could use. Anyway, just a sudden idea, but I also had a sort of half-assed mod I never finished; essentially I had to come to the realization that I suck at mapping (know the basics, but not creative enough to make interesting areas), but I played around more with the code. Maybe my half-assed coding and your half-assed mapping would make a whole-assed mod? Just a gentle idea, no bugging - I'm not even sure if I have the capacity for HL modding right now.
I really love the old flak cannon sound. It sounds meaty, hydraulic and emphasizes the brutality of this weapon :D (gibbin' skaarj at a close range )

I'm honestly glad they changed the sounds, the old ones simply sound too weak and wimpy. I kinda like the Eightball and Razorjack sound though.

I think that the old sounds are better than the newest one. They are more realistic, subudet and climatic in game. New sounds like wonderland toys.

most of the old sounds lack a certain oomphf that the Gold sounds have.
I've downloaded the patch for the old sound effects for Unreal Gold. I followed every step there is.The patch is 227i. It's not working, it won't give me the old weapon sounds. Am I missing something?I have Unreal Gold from Steam. Please help me with this. Thanks.

Seems inefficient when it comes to map device vs stash tab vs crafting table vs master vendor.
Both stashes and Navali are right next to the map device as well as the crafting table. If you want a super efficient hideout then you wouldn't use a decorated hideout like any other person. This hideout was also made before the master mission rework in 3.8.0.
the most popular or somehow called "meta" hideouts usually have the master vendor on the left and stash tab on the right from the waypoint. It allows player to be able to have opened vendor window with possibility to open stash. Also, when you get off map, you spawn south from map device, so usually it is good idea to count that into placement of other hideout tools. might look minor, but even these functional tweaks could be incorporated into a nicely looking hideouts.
@@DoctorDotCola ps: i hope GGG will change the master missions. might simplify the whole mapping area, having the masters near the map device is just a bad complication when creating hideout.
