In 2022, the United States gave Israel 3.8 billion dollars. Israel will run a budget surplus of over 4.3 billion dollars for 2022. This means that not only could have Israel could have gone without American foreign aid, they could have done so and ran a budget surplus of more than half a billion dollars. Half Billion dollars is a lot of money for country with less than ten million people. The US breaks its own laws. (Leahy Law and Symington Amendment) to give billions to an Apartheid state running a surplus.
