In the passenger footwell behind the panel there are two white connectors. These get wet and the connections get corroded. By cutting these out and hard wiring each connecter in turn this will cancel a lot of issues with sound and other systems 👍

Unfortunately the new higher mileage will stay there when you put your old becm back in😢 the system is designed to stop people trying to lower the mileage by fitting a lower mileage becm or clocks. The system will always adopt the higher mileage from either component!!

I've been trying to find an American style heavy rescue/wreckertruck body for my build! Thinking I'm going to have to buy the Tamiya wrecker and cut the wrecker body to fit mine and throw the rest away! I already have a hydraulic rotator boom & wheel lift, seems such a waste a wrecker body!

When i retro fit a stereo the speaker would buzz, but when i put back the original Clarion stereo the buzz would stop, turns out there is feed back from the amp in the stereo and the amps in the doors, I did overcome this by fitting a blocking diode on each feed to the speakers, and this allowed me to use the new stereo on the old Range rover, it was fine for about 15 years but now it has started the buzz again, so suspect one of the blocking diodes that go to each speaker has failed

Does the replacement gearbox need to be coded to the car?

how would you install the aux / usb port in the glovebox? my car dosent have those in there already

As a teenager I always wanted a Sierra Sapphire Cosworth, they still look great even now!

I replaced my turbo boost pipes by removing the under car front panel and assembled the turbo pipes to the map sensor holder outside the car, and fed the assembly up from underneath and there is just enough room for hands to tighten jubilee clip to egr valve, and then fit map sensor plug from underneath. A lot easier than removing the front bumper.

What were your symptoms you were experiencing prior to this ? Im having alot of issues cutting out underload

please can you give me the dimensions of the chassis rail height and width as i want to try scratch building a trailer as near to the tamiya size as possible

My parents once owned a D2 (2002 facelift) went greenlaning regulary BUT always got pressure washed underneath after, to rid of the mud/salt etc. They all rust regardless, but if washed underneath it prolonges the time the tin worm can get to work and always best to underseal 'em if you can.

Seems like where the seal would run there wasnt any rust on the chrome ball

was that a government inspection? ours aren't nearly as in depth here in Texas!

I used a second trailer that was was broken and made my trailer with 6 axles and used Lego pieces to build a actuator for my ramps and a servo with a round bar to raise & lower the landing gear!
