Starting right out of the gate you got #1 totally backwards. Its not that we don't respect titles. We just assume that someone got their title because they know what they are doing and that someone is above you in the hierarchy because they have knowledge and expertise that you don't have. At least not yet. And then we turn 25. Things really go downhill from there.

Yep. Im a female INTJ and relationships never appealed to me. I tried dating just to see if I had some preconceived notions that could be proven wrong but if anything I was even less inclined to keep “giving it a try” 😂 For me, relationships are nothing but a disruption of my peace and independence.

Ive caught so much flak in my life over asking questions, teachers, parents and priests were the endless battle. Because ive been surrounded by everything but INTPs, Ive just spent an inordinate amount of time in my head. Obviously it can get a bit lonely but "belief is a beautiful armor that makes for the heaviest sword." Waiting for the idiot to leave is better than arguing to me, id rather just keep thinking.

I'm an ENFP. I took two different MBTI tests, and both resulted in the same answer! XD I hope I find my compatible personality... cuz being the most compatible with the rarer types sounds difficult; INFJ, INTJ, ENFJ, ENTJ. I know that personality isn't everything, but many people believe that it makes things easier when you're in a relationship. LOL Idk. XD

I have such a hard time with women because i can't flirt or pick up on those signals if my life depends on it. My wheelhouse isnt equipped for that kind of thing. Ive always stumbled into realationships because they wanted me. Then they just fade away when I dont put in any effort. There are 2 things I hate, job interviews and maintaining relationships both require a level of ass kissing that I'm not built for.

At the end of a fairly long and adventurous life, this INTJ, who left the cities back in ‘03, no longer feels the loneliness of the only child, and embraces the quiet and solitude in a small house on the Continental Divide, well insulated with a 1/4 of a square mile to keep people away. My only regrets are those of being too generous to people I once liked. Now I stay with my 2 dogs and cat. I don’t need people; they have completely lost their minds in this last election. I *loathe* question #3. I honestly don't know what to say to that. Does the person mean at that instant, or beforehand? Because, if it's that instant. I literally feel nothing, as the question has jolted the "feeling" out of me (if I had one to begin with).

INTJ's don't want friends. It would be like becoming friends with ducks or snakes. Earth people tend to use one another and call that friendship.

How many INTJs here are agnostic or atheist? This is a supposed trait of INTJs. I know I am and always have been since a kid.

Find someone to keep you grounded one or two people is fine but you need to eat and learn when to turn your brain off for brief moments

I am intj. i hate my personalities. I hope i more emotionally open and i hope i can speak whatever i feel with people. When i was child i cant express my emotion for a reason. I used to be alone. No one taught me how to feel, how to express my emotion, how to understand or tell people what i need. I hope i can understand what people feel. And i can speak what i need. I am a girl. I've been this situation when i was a child till now. So it make me be an intj. But i want to be like what normal people do. With this personality i feel weird. I become an intj because unconditional situation and how i treated by adult around me, without i understand what i wanted to be. I thought i was suddenly being an intj. Without realizing it.

i definately dont like being with another intj ... i always like someone very different from myself...someone who expresses emotions easily and someone who cares easily about others emotions, especially about my emotions since i dont know what to do with mine and always try to just throw them away and throw other peoples emotions in the trash as well.... so i always get with very emotionaly in tune guys who actually give them importance and seem to know where they come from etc ..... its weird cuz i have this intj exterior...but inside i can be very feminine to the point that it feels unsafe

"Intimidating" simply does not apply to INTPs for the most part.

Maybe I'm just lucky but as an INTP most of these negatives don't seem to apply to me that much. - I have maybe just a hand full of friends but all of those friendships are close and quality relationships. - I wouldn't say that I lack empathy, though I guess I can come off that way to more feeling oriented people. All I do is tell people how it is without any bs and some people love me for it, while others will hate me for it and I actually think that is perfect, because I don't trust people who are somewhere in the middle of those two things. - I never had a problem with underestimating others or looking down on others for having lower grades, because I don't value the education system as it is to begin with. I too simply did the bare minimum to pass, because let's be honest here, nothing you "learn" in high school stays relevant later in life and as you move into a career. I consider entrée level jobs valuable and perfectly respectable work, for most people that is their first work experience and even if they stay there for life then as long as they are happy with it, who am I to judge? Everyone has a different measure for success. The only things I struggle with is being harsh on myself and procrastination.

Relationships: why I finally left the city and moved away to a rural area where I live alone. I’m lousy at relationships but good at researching, writing, memory, and organizing a life in a fairly remote location.
