oil/belts to tight?

This is amazing! I'm just starting to make my 1st table and this is EXACTLY what I'd like the end result to be. Any tips?

the standard stone tile ground is that just impressed(with like a rock) then scribed lines in it?

Thanks for the comment. The stone work is all painstakingly hand carved into XPS sheets. First I cut with a modelling knife and then go over the cut with a decent ballpoint pen, as you can imagine it takes a lot of time! I then lightly hammered the board with a stone to give it's uneven, weathered texture. The table was then coated with a "goop" mixture which is a combination of silicone adhesive, filler, tile adhesive, plaster, pva and paint. Ah yes, the Orky stuff! I will be making some more of that, eventually :-)

Great work mate,can i ask your methods on carving the stone work and is any of this moulded.You should do some more ork work,u were the ebay master at scrap piles.
