Making a SHELL CORDOVAN wallet by hand
I've had a lost dutchman wallet for years love it
how many cards and bills?
👍
Beautiful!
Still do this color?
really cool vid!!
I love my big Finn! First wallet I’ve ever had that didn’t need a break in period
What leather is that
Can’t wait for mine to arrive, will be my 4th shell cordovan wallet from you guys, awesome products.
Hello what is the color of the stitching here?
@lostdutchmanleather “Is it suitable for Euros?”
Hey I have a lost dutchman and it fits all my pound notes. So you should be good 👍
do you guys sell the pattern?
By hand... then used 2 machines. I make them by hand.. totally lol
That font fits perfectly looks amazing!
can i get the link to those pants
Do you have pdf pattern of this product? I am new in this line and I want to make one for myself.
What would happen if i put my hand in there?
Patiently waiting for mine
Bro please do pin the link for that headphones 🎧
Сложно представить для чего нужно носить с собой такое количество карт…🤔
What machine is that clicker?
That song choice is excellent.
I've always been a fan of novels of the Old West. Tales of cowboys blazing trails in uncharted territory seeking a better life. That's what this wallet video reminded me of.
So good😂
Make some Finn compatible with my trayvax keychain 😢
wow This takes me back to my 70's.
Using clicker press and molds is not handcraft.
That's only one part of the process bub. And the only reason we don't hand-cut everything is because 1) we would have to charge people 2-3x what we currently charge 2) using dies and a press is higher-quality. It's more consistent, accurate, efficient, and it comes with no downside. It doesn't negatively effect the quality and durability of the end product in any way, which is the most important thing for us. Did you watch the parts where we painstakingly burnish, stitch, stamp etc the wallets? If using cutting dies negates all that handiwork for you then okay I guess.
That was amusing
How do you like this edge grinding machine? Is this the ideal solution, or is a handheld Dremel better?
I am a leather worker and rotate through many wallets I have made... but I love your designs and want to support made in America small business. Finn or Big Finn? What is the story behind the name of the company?
Is there any concern of the brass snap wearing out over time?
Will you make the Finnigan version with a quick draw pocket option
I have this wallet and I love it.
How much cash can it hold? And can it be folded once, or does it have to be folded twice? Such a gorgeous wallet!
Thats sweet the button looks great!!
It's funny you say that rizzo. I was just wonderin' whose side you were on
What you can do is remove the button hardware and give people the option of having a front tuck instead.
I believe they already have that as an option.
They have that option for years now.
that looks really good
I need a version for my trayvax carabineer, make it real Nate !
August 24 is my birthday that looks cool
Mine too!
my wife got me one of these. still holds up and i’m happy say my olive mini franklin is getting an upgrade to a beautiful olive Franklin. can’t wait to get it in the mail! love your wallets. craftsmanship is unmatched!
Is this russet or buck brown?
Buck Brown
No loop? Without the loop, no diagonal slant. That slant makes the stitching line pop and is visually appealing.
I said it in my head too. "Now pull thread over and behind the needle. . And they skipped it
@@matthewsandoval2289damn, it’s a nice video too….. missed one step. Or maybe he didn’t. He just didn’t say it
I take one.
Hi
Superb craftsmanship! Thank you so much.
What grit do you use?
What grit sand paper to use ?
I don't get the appeal... Maybe it's because I'm not a fan of either color.
I did this same line of work in the shoe factory. I loved the job. i also made the holes in the leather shoes. Job then came with the holes already in the shoes, then eventually shoes were done with stitching done by machines. Job was taken away by machines, hand stitching done away. How Sad. I was paid $1.00 a pair to hand sew like this.😮
И самый главный работник бегает хвостиком виляет. А в награду получит вместо зарплаты какую нибудь вкусняшку. Лапулька мохнатая😊
I looked on your website but couldnt find anything about shipping, Do you guys ship to Canada?
We sure do!
