Commenting in 2024, yes RC could make a Main with no prep no doubt. He’s still got it. I honestly don’t even think he’d have to race the LCQ unless he made a big mistake or had a DNF. If qualifying for the main event is by placement in a heat race.. no i don't, but yes if its by lap times. I have no doubt that RC can still lay down a decent time. But with zero prep, his race fitness would let him down to make the last position to qualify to the main. Although he might just have enough to get in via lcq

Watching some of your other Vids I would agree this is a great bike. I hadn't ridden for about 12 years and at 40 Im back into it, I alway had and loved YZs but I shopped around for new 24 models and a dealer here had a brand new 23 model RMZ450 for a crazy clearance deal and as most know its the exact bike as the 24. I was able to spend money saved on the same RS12 Yoshi system and got the suspension tuned for my weight and riding style and still came in cheaper than if I bought a 24 YZ. My RM is a beast and I love it, Im sure the YZ would be sweet too and I dont have a lot to go off as I spent a long time away from this stuff but its the best machine I've ever been on. Nothing wrong with the kick starter either, gives it some character and its the best looking bike in the field.

Im so glad I was alive to watch Bubba and Charmicael race together. Reed too. But RC and Bubba are just such good guys, fun to watch them together and still friends to boot.
