How to do a FRONTSIDE 50-50 on your snowboard for beginners!
A quick, beginner-friendly tutorial on how do a frontside 50-50. A more gentle, non-overwhelming approach to get you to successfully doing your first frontside 50-50's on your snowboard!
Keep in mind:
• pop down & over - keep spine upright so we’re not bending at the hips.
• keep arms over nose & tail (prevents us from opening/closing that front shoulder)
• look at the end of the feature
• HAVE FREAKING FUN WITH IT. :)
Repetition is everything. Do it over & over & over.

It can be difficult to coach someone you're close to, especially if you have different learning styles. Riding and explaining riding are also two separate skills that you need to work on and some people don't realize that. So getting a lesson can be a good idea depending on the situation and personalities.

Vail has 100 plus winds last year but I’m not sure if that’s more than mammoth or not. Screw thattttt anyways i don’t want wind🤣
we just had 100+ winds yesterday & the entire mountain was shut down by 11.... haha
@ 100+ around the entire mtn is crazy. We normally have some places that have coverage so we can keep certain lifts running. My highest wind this season has been 50. Keep the wind over there🤣
Come talk to me when you've really skied the actual windiest place on earth... Mount Washington in NH (we held the record for like 20 years)

lol definitely gets windy there. I lived in Colorado tho for 6 years & didn’t experience wind like I have in Mammoth
My home mountain is Loveland here in CO....we want you to hold our beer! 😂
