It seems like the only way to beat him is to cheese from cover. The fight had potential to be great, but was just kind of boring. Took like 15 minutes on normal.

I think I found a glitch for this fight, I beat him with only the auto 9, as you enter look opposite and you see a silver van, i stood behind this very close and he came over and stood in front, his bullets hit the van as he moved from side to side i followed him and he never came round to my side i took his whole health from behind that van and took no damage, i was already on 27% but stayed there the whole fight. behind ed i could see a street vultures banner hung up on the wall, the van was what just looked like a black wall, on the cutscene after i realised it was a van, with the auto 9 it takes about 5 minutes of every shot hitting the target, he takes alot of damage

It's cheap but you can go directly in front of ED-209 and just shoot him point blank. PCB 3.3 absolutely mauls him. If you have the focus ability and the shield ability, you can switch between them to put damage on him, while taking little in return. Never stay at distance.

You can hide behind the van once it explodes and he can't hit you.

Really hard boss, at least in my opinion. There’s literally no where to hide for cover. I just spammed Ed with shotgun and assault rounds as well as throwing explosive objects at it. After about ten attempts I defeated it.

For those who don’t know, this fight has an insane cutscene that plays before it. And cool music also plays but this guy has it turned off. So no music and he didn’t include cutscene 😤

I loved ED-209 from the movie but this.... this is beyond horrible and lame!😡 This isn't a boss fight. It's complete garbage.

You can hide behind the wooden crate in that level too. Do it right and ED-209 will actually stop moving entirely and you can peek your gun around the side and blast it until its dead. Same with the arms expo later on in the game. Dont run around exposing yourself, just stay within the first two story building in the area and move around static objects. ED-209 cant shoot through them, giving you ample cover.

clearly the dipshits who made this game havn't seen ED-209 in the 1st Robocop...his rate of fire is way faster than this

You can easily beat him on hard mode. Just get on the side of the van. Its too stupid to walk arounf it😂
