We don’t want to be too harsh on Pires. He’s not a defensive full back. He’s an attacking wingback and his strengths are going forward… second half he looked good linking up with Sarmiento. We also need to remember he’s new in the country, doesn’t speak the language, learning english football in the championship, learning a new style and team… Vitihno looked poor early on. Let’s support him and not get on his back🙏

We need to stop playing walking football and get the tempo up. The faster the tempo the more spaces appear. Also, I think we might score a lot of late goals as we tire teams out.

Thought we were much the better side first half - excl first 2 mins - in terms of control, quality of chances and goal! Second half was a tough watch for thirty mins, but we ended the match in control again. Wherever Leeds finish we will be, at worst, level, more likely ahead!

Paul...your forgetting that you had 12 players. The referee was a cheat. Pope didn't foul the striker after 5 mins or so, but your goalie fouled Ben mee in the area and got the foul... cheating at it's best

Come on you've got to be better than this surely. You know what it's like to get an absolute drubbing off your deadly rivals ( 5-0) . And that 3-0 loss to you lot a couple of seasons ago was excruciating. We rolled over and let you tickle our blue and white bellies. For me that was worse than you finishing 21st at Ewood . This was such a different Rovers side that battled and fought hard and thoroughly deserved their appreciation at the end of the match. You are such hypocrites. Reverse the situation and reverse our recent fortunes and you'd of been exactly the same. I'll be honest the first 20 minutes you blew us away and I was fearing the worst. But we came back into it , treated you to a world class strike and until the sending off it was a much more even contest. But when going down to 10 against a team fancied for automatic promotion of coarse we are going to sit back. That's what happens. You know football. We sat our 2 banks in front of ya and said ' come on then , what have you got ?' . And do you know what you had. Jack sh1t , that's what you had. You looked toothless. If Rovers had been away to Leeds and we had and we had to play with 10 men for the last 25 minutes and we held out we'd of indeed celebrated that also. Of coarse we are going to celebrate that little bit more because its you lot and because of recent traumas. I've only lasted 9 minutes so maybe you go on to give us some credit. Love the podcast, frequently found y’all echoing exactly how I felt last season, and maybe I’m just as ignorant of an American as Pace, but I wasn’t worried about any of these moves til I started listening this evening. Completely agree with Rich at the end, I like O’Shea but think we got a good deal on a guy who isn’t PL quality. Was disappointed to see Zaroury go, but it didn’t surprise me after last year. Gudmundsson leaving did surprise me, going that quick after re-signing could be a bad omen, but most of our departures have been from the wings or center back where we have far too many options, and we’ve spent money actually bringing in a true left back, bolstering the midfield with Hannibal, and getting some veteran leadership in the form of Worrall. Maybe a mass exodus is to come and I’ll look silly in a couple of days, but I’ll believe a bunch of Twitter rumors and armchair body language analysis as soon as any of it proves correct, and Foster coming on and playing today doesn’t do them any favors. Keep up the good work, hopefully the preview show finds y’all with reason for optimism and a good result comes along Saturday.

I agree with Rich when he said about players should be proud to play for the club. The badge comes first.

We should have sacked Kompany last season when it was clearly obvious he was making the changing room toxic. And we should never have agreed to that stupidity that was the road to burnley documentary. It was just a joke, an utter waste of time. If Pace is actually interested in Burnley as a community led club, he needs to step up, and run the club as a man that has the community at heart.
