Просмотров 6 тыс.2 года назад
In the market for a new clicker press? You should definitely consider the SLC 4 ton clicker press (SKU 011-04) for your line up! This video is a review of the clicker press and its features and functionality. I demonstrate it's cutting power through 2 oz to 10 oz leather. There is no stopping this beast. 4 ton clicker press www.springfieldleather.com/Craftmaster-Hand-Clicker-Press-4-Ton Policy ...
Good afternoon. What kind of glue do you have in the jar, 6:58? Thanks
Aquilim
Great video. Should have more views. I have been researching replicate higher end sneaker making like crown northampton and your video is one of the best. Obviously no lasts are available/ needed for the sneakerkit. - I noticed some non-stretch lining between the layers. Is this important for stretchy thin leather like kangaroo? What material did you use? - Didn't see this done in the video, do you think the toe needs a toe stiffener just like the heel will the non-stretch lining be enough? Thanks!
That is a copy of the Australian Lucris press . He designed it years ago .Now everyone is ripping him off. Shameful.
I didn't make the press. That is a Springfield Leather press.
I think i have watched every video on youtube on how to do this, and this is my favorite version because of your additions of foam and stiffeners. I have been wanting to do it myself for a while now. I have a piece of neoprene that i might try to use as the cushion. What is the stiffening material you used on the body and heel called?
Thanks so much! I will have another video coming out soon about a new and innovative pair I have been working on. The stiffening material is from District Leather Supply. Toe puff: districtleathersupply.com/collections/shoe-craft/products/cotton-based-thermoformable-toe-puff-material-for-shoe-making?variant=39796962459710 Heel: districtleathersupply.com/collections/shoe-craft/products/cotton-based-thermoformable-heel-counter-material-for-shoe-making Sides can be made from the toe puff material as well, however, you can also try this: districtleathersupply.com/collections/shoe-craft/products/reinforcement-fabric-flexible-polyester Hope these links help. I look forward to seeing your creation!
Excellent tutorial. Thank you for taking the time to post it. How thick is the foam that you used around the ankle and inside the tongue.... and what type of glue did you use?
Thank you so much! I am glad this video was helpful. I used Rolyan brand gray foam that was 1/4" thick. I didn't want it to feel too bulky around my ankles. I also didn't want it to be too thick on the tongue area. I still wanted to wear socks. :) The glue is Aquilim.
Those look great. Nice job.
Very good
They look awesome 👌
Very nice. I clicked out the leather last night but waited to watch more videos before I started the build. I was able to glean a few tips from your process - thanks!
Awesome! I am happy it was helpful. I would love to see your final product!
