I wanna get excited for another "new" fuzzes but I just can't.. it just sounds like another one to pile over the fuzz back burner, nothing to write home about other than cool looking new enclosure. A+ for effort! Great demo though, good stuff!

I’ve always loved “synthy” dirt pedals and will definitely order this one. My first one was the WMD’s Geiger Counter, recently I’ve acquired the Cosmodio Pet Yeti, Subdecay’s PixelWave & Noise Theory, Tark Audio’s Squid Ink, Collision Devices’ Tar & Wettmar Electrics Interruptor Overdrive.

This is easily the coolest thing that's happened in pedals for years. A new actual original effect is kinda unheard of these days. I think the only thing I can even think to compare this to is a tuneable Boss MO-2 mixed with an EHX Ravish Sitar and an EQD Rainbow Machine, but even then it's so wildly different that I'm not even sure that's an apt comparison.

These are probably my favorite expression devices when it comes to exploring unknown sonic landscapes. Left Brain + Generation Loss MKII has been a go to of mine since I’ve had them both, and I’ve been having fun with the 3rd Eye controlling the Error and Texture settings of Onward. Thanks for the creative ideas!

Just discovered the MBD and was looking for a demo video. Boy am I happy I found this one! Just well put together. Love that you mic’d an actual amp for the demo. Loved the variety of uses of the pedal you demoed and the stacking. This is seriously one of the better pedal demos I’ve seen. Thanks for putting together and sharing!

Also, since you have tested it with the Plumes, what fuzz do you have in your arsenal that you can recommend that best sits in with the dirtfixer, that can also share the same eq settings you use with plumes? I’d like to find a fuzz to add, but need it to share the same eq.

FINALLY found some more vids on the dirtfixer, so thank you for this! I’ve been using it with the Plumes and find it a much better solution than just using the bass version, the Blumes. I can get the plumes with the dirtfixer to fit in with my existing board much easier than just dropping the Blumes on it. I have noticed that the dirtfixer DOES NOT take actual bass pedals well IMO. Like for example, I tried adding my Darkglass Alpha Omicron and B3K to the loop assuming it would basically turn those into the ultra versions with the added eq, but it did not sound good at all. I assume then the eq curves on the dirtfixer are tailored directly to tame more guitar specific pedals only. Subbed! Glad I found your channel!
