City to Soil - Our Regeneration Project in Italy

I am Jennyfer and together with my partner and our dog, we've decided to move from a big city like Rome to the Tuscany countryside in order to live more immersed and connected with nature. Our project is to renovate an abandoned small house and regenerate an olive grove in Italy. We are passionate about outdoor activities, permaculture and agro-ecology, self-sufficiency, but also hiking, cycling and discovering the beauty on this world. We have decided to documenting this life-change project here on RUclips in order to get inspired and learning.
Ep. 11 - Summer in Tuscany - Regenerating Soil, Harvesting St. John's Wort & Escaping the Heat!
Welcome back to City to Soil! In this episode, we (Jennyfer and Marco) dig to inspect underground pipes and electricity cables, only to find a safety risk. Our day ends with the peaceful sound of evening crickets.
The next day, we proudly show you our lush, green front yard garden, transformed from a rocky, barren space. We then visit our olive grove and fruit trees, noting the promising but yet-to-mature produce.
Watch as Jennyfer harvests vibrant St. John's Wort before we escape the heatwave to Monte Amiata with our dog Maya. At 1200 meters above sea level, we find cool refuge in Europe's largest beech forest.
