amen I just met him tonight in lake Charles Louisiana in a waffle house he overheard me talking with a little boy about jesus and came and joined in our conversation and invited us to sit with him he is a holy spirit filled man we shared testimonies and scriptures and he gave me his new cd and all I can say is wow. I didn't get to see him perform but you could tell how the pastor talked about it that it had flair and fire in it from seeing some of his old performances I definitely want to see some of his new ones.....wow is all I can say he touched my heart tonight and he said I touched his as he listened to my testimony very awesome man

I met Daniel in 2002 and spent 3 days with him, Rick Shaw and Daniel's mom, Ms. Darlene driving back roads around Como and saw him a couple more times during trips to Mississippi... Then I heard that he had hooked up with the church and quit the blues... As far as I know that's what he is still doing??? I donno... The boy can do whatever he sets his mind to... I love to think that like Son House did a long time ago that he could find peace in doing the blues and being a man of Faith but...

Daniel was at the Bayfront Blues Festival in Duluth MN playing in the beer tent and blew everyone away. He had everyone so jazzed they asked him to play on the main stage but he had just broke three strings, playing with that thumb pick. I ran to the music store and bought him some 13's and changed his strings and he went up on the main stage and really rocked the place. He invited me backstage and we had a blast. Then he played at the blues club that night. A real hard working young man. If Daniel did go back to church and get married praise God. It sho nuff was fun hanging with him though.

In all honestly im in a 8th grade symphonic band, playing trumpet for 3 years, and if i had money i'd donate it to you guys, cause i love hearing good music and love seeing people enjoy playing music.

alot of more modern rock soloing techniques are in classical scale,not blues. im a horrible blues player,but i can play yngwie all day
