Like I said on Facebook Ed, awesome job!! It really did turn out awesome. Love the paint and weathering. It really looks the part. Nice work getting through the landing gear issue too.The St. John Aerodrome does some top notch work. Can’t wait to see what’s next
@@kyledehartsscaleworks ya know, I couldn't come up with a name for the aircraft division! Now I gots one! Thanks for blazing in.
@ ha!! You’re welcome. Speed shop could still work for this one but aerodrome popped in my head.
absolutely love it, great job 👍
@@ModelCarGuyRich thanks for checking it out. I definitely gave it my best shot.
Dang nice build, Ed ✌️😁
@@SmallADVentures1973 thanks. It was nice to build a warbird. Haven't done that in a while and certainly not in this scale. Glad you blazed by.
That is wicked cool Ed, pretty awesome. Cheers JV
@@johnnyvscustomsgaragetassie. thanks for checking it out, JV. Much appreciated.
Spit turned out awesome Ed, nice base too, 👍😎
@@ramblers69 thanks. Had to do this one right.
Seeing this on the turntable really hammers home the size. Lol. Love the panel lining and the dull coat. Really made it look how it should. That landing gear is pitiful. But the build looks great!
@@kyledehartsscaleworks thanks for checking it out. Final vid will be posted today.

@@ramblers69 thanks for checking it out, Tom. Unfortunately it broke yet again! A weak spot from the drilling. Got it fixed for now.
Nice work being done there, and of course Iron Maiden is a great band!

Awesome work on the Spit. She is really coming along great. Love the figures too
@@kyledehartsscaleworks thanks. I'm putting a lot of effort into it.
@ you can tell. It’s really paying off too. That masking job had to be all kinds of tedious but it looks so good.
I am currently modeling a 3D IRONFOOT HASTY F4X / GARTAN/ THUINDERBOLT , with which I can 3D print any scale and even animate or make some cool Fang of the Sun anime cartoons! ,, Here is the link to my progress ruclips.net/video/-yOI7NnXrp8/видео.html

So I can make it any scale at all now ruclips.net/video/-yOI7NnXrp8/видео.html
Ooo that spitfire comes with Eddie!! That's worth buying just for that. I think the GTO looks really cool like that. It reminds me of lightning. Great job weathering that too!
@@pappytinkers the Spitfire ain't a bad kit except for the landing gear. The GTO was fun to paint. No need to real neat with it. The real thing was probably painted with a roller in somebody's garage. Thanks for stopping by.
@TI4438 demo derbies and dirt tracks are great places to get inspiration for these kinds of builds, cause there's usually such a mix of almost professionally painted, to tossing the kids a couple spray cans lol
I saw Iron Maiden a few times. 🤘 Looks good Ed. Spot on with the figures. 👍
@@themediocremodeler-zm7ny thanks. I really wanted to do a good job on these.
As a maiden fan since 1981, and a modeller since the mid 70's, the release of this kit brought together two of my favourite interests! might build mine fully this year, or just get the eddies done.
@@philsmodelmaking2260 thanks for stopping by. Much appreciated. Use the thinnest possible coats of paint on the figures. The details get obscured real fast. No issues with this kit so far.
@@TI4438 thanks for the heads up, figure painting isn't really my strong point, but I obviously want my eddies to be as good as I can make them!
Excellent Spitfire. Nice job.👍
@@charlie418791 thanks. Slowly but surely it's getting there.
Camo looks good Ed, I've done some 1/72 planes, the masking is a pain, I know that aftermarket company make metal landing gear just for the reason you stared, enjoy your Sunday buddy, 👍😎
@@ramblers69 if it were a smaller scale I most likely would have hand painted it. Thanks for blazing in, Tom.
Iron maiden were a great band, many a head bang'n nights with my younger brother working on cars in the shed with Iron maiden playing in the back ground. Cool plane build. Taping cammo sucks. Great work on those figures Ed. Cheers JV
@@johnnyvscustomsgaragetassie. thanks for breezing in. I've always loved the album covers but never got into their music. Lotta competition. I'm rectifying that now.

Great shoutouts from a couple good dudes. Really cool project Ed. I am loving this. I’m starting on a Spitfire myself. Tropical version with the big chin air cleaner. Tamiya 1/48. Got to love a spitfire. Your cockpit is looking awesome.
@@kyledehartsscaleworks thanks. Took e way longer than I thought it would to get this done. Paints gotta dry!
@ you’re welcome! been working my way through an FW190 before the spitfire. These planes always take more time than I think they will. Lol.
@@kyledehartsscaleworks I imagine we'll get to see that!
@@TI4438 yeah. I’ll show it off. It’s just a little old Matchbox 1/72 scale. I’m using it to practice a captured winter scheme. Been a lot of fun. Simple kit so I haven’t done any updates.
Very nice work great detail 😊

Fantastic job so far!!! I have this kit in my stash, very interested in following your build!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
@@dragonfreak123 thanks for checking it out. Only issue is weak landing gear. Gluing bare plastic is your best bet. Another RUclipsr reinforced it with brass rod.

Shoot Ed!! I just can’t win with this video. Lol!! I’m late watching it and then my YT crashed mid comment. Very glad the card came!! Awesome stash adds. Dirt track fairlane is always a winner. The 51 Chevy always looks sharp. And I love a Spitfire!! And in 1/32. And it gets better with another Robotech!! Awesome stuff. That’s a really cool build too. Love the dirt track look. Love the weathering underneath. Just a really cool look. I’m sure the paint issue is aggravating but it still does look really cool. Nice work!!
