Looks like my build is sitting pretty still right now, for the most part. The changes they made, mostly are beneficial for my build out. I don't use power armor either, so any of those additions to the perks restrictions don't bother me. Currently level... 32 on a new character I restarted after being away for a while. Sitting with power armor level defenses already without wearing any power armor, and with the ability to carry roughly the same anyways. Power armor is basically useless in this game, as far as I see it. Especially since it negates all the armor your are technically 'supposed' to be still wearing underneath it. (A common problem I have with the fall out games. Some armors may not fit well under the shell of the armor, but some should fit just fine; yet they negate all armor instead of allowing what could be worn effectively to still have any effect at all. I really don't like it. It makes absolutely zero logical or reasonable sense. Think about it. If you could wear more armor inside of armor in the wasteland, wouldn't you? I think you would.) PS. Before anyone gets on to reply about weight. You still carry that weight in your inventory regardless. As I said before, there is no logical reason to not allow for normal armor and clothing to have its effects still applied. Perk cards are a different situation, since of course the power armor is going to affect things that have to do with perks like serendipity, cause dodging will be harder with all that bulk. But, I would still allow for a level of the perk to let power armor have it as well, because training should allow for it.
@@ManuFortis interesting take. I agree about the armor. It would be awesome if it could stack! We do have the burden of carrying it!
@@GrimandMazzy Thanks. It's one of those things I shake my head at in regards to Bethesda's choices. In FO4, I am looking to make a mod for myself at first at least, maybe release it later, that fixes this problem. If it works, maybe Bethesda will consider it for FO76, since they use the, more or less, same engine. I already have tested the idea somewhat with making some items in FO4 that don't layer like they should realistically, so that they do. It all boils down to their body part placement in the creation kit. A lot of stuff that should be considered clothing due to how thin it is, sometimes is put under armor instead. Swapping this fixes the problem on that front. I think a way to fix it for the Power Armor, would be to make it so there is 2 layers of clothing. The engine even has like, 7 other available 'undefined' slots available for this as well. But, sometimes one of those slots is used for some things... so I am unsure which are safe to play with. At this point. The fix would be that the power armor always goes above the 2nd layer, putting thin layer armors into the 2nd layer, and then letting the thicker stuff that wouldn't fit in the power armor be under 'armor' only, essentially. The exact proper terms are not in use right now, because I am currently using the skyrim version of the creation kit, so some names may have changed, etc. But the idea will remain the same. FO76 technically already does this too, sort of. There are some clothes that can be worn over other clothes as a skin of sorts, but they now cover the armor as well (hence calling them a skin of sorts) despite them showing up as normal clothing item as well in the game. Example: Greasers leathers and road leathers. Road leathers act like a base layer, but greasers goes ontop of armor. And a small pet peeve on that front. So much leather and clothing being worn... there should be at least 1 to 2 DT being added... but there is not. Like common Bethesda.
Too many endurance perks to carry tbh, especially thru hikers, bullet shield and starched genes moving categories

@@ProTraderSorta I would say the overall story line would be finding out what happened to the overseer and inoculating the people of the scorched plague. Of course, there is the other various faction with their own stories as well.

Love learning about little “game-changers” like this. I was just thinking the only way players could have seen the mutated Fever Blossom prior to this would be if they had Nuked Flora and Creatures active in a Custom World. But now I just realized there was that time when interiors could be “nuked” creating interior nuked flora (fever blossom at Arktos Pharma lab). Still I agree, it’s got to be the rarest “plant” in the game. I see lure weed frequently enough

I HATE this new method of building. !!🤬🤬🤬🤬. I’ve started just BUYING the mods at vendors. I’ve scrapped and scrapped and literally get maybe ONE mod. It’s like NOT worth the time. I’m glad I did all my legendary weapons before this all started.
I understand where you're coming from. The grind can definitely be frustrating, especially when RNG Gods aren’t in your favor. With all that said, I’ve come to enjoy the new crafting system. Def makes armor sets easier to obtain, and allows me to experiment with different play styles.

🫵💣💥💯 something I've 'worked out' with Super Duper card. When crafting ANYTHING,(except legendaries) as soon a super duper goes off/activates, withdraw from bench/stove, go back in, it will go off again immediately. This works for me 9/10, can't guarantee it for others, but definitely WORTH a try. Love to hear if it works for others 🤓🤔🧐
