A typical doorbell works anyway between 10-24v - although a video doorbell would require a little more juice so between 16-24v. Although its DC, it shouldn't matter which wire goes on which terminal.

There are no specifications on voltage to use for hardwiring, and neither which one is positive + and negative - in the back of the camera

@Tom10288 The only way I can imagine would be to glue the device in place, which would also prevent resetting the device and servicing the AC charging wires / wired doorbell ringer.

What a half assed installation video

As i know so far the front camera unit isn't removable by simply detaching it from the holder. Correct? If so it would be helpful to produce a future version with this feature As long it isn't available I'd like to regularly remove it from the windshield with the holder. Is this practical and built for that? How often can i remove and install it on the windshield. Is this static pad made for that usage?😢

Hello, is there any additional equipment to connect this camera to the vehicle fuse panel?

I was an early customer of the Botslab Video Doorbell 360. Video quality and external battery were great! BUT WiFi connectivity was terrible!! Worse, was the customer support! Completely useless. I quit the doorbell and went back to Ring, which is easy WiFi and community connection. I also have Botslab internal cameras. They are great! No problems and really like the mini SD local recording. Wish they were 5MP. But if you get the video doorbell, BEWARE of customer “support”. No phone number. Email response was terrible, as was Facebook Community Group and Messenger customer help. You have been warned! Too bad, because technically best video at 5MP.
