I fish mainly 20 mil boilies. Hookbaits is double 20's.

People have mixed opinions on this. These fish are not native to the uk, there a hybrid french, belgian fish known for fast growing, Fair play to the lads at RH, there making dreams come true for UK anglers who dont need to travel to france and europe to catch big carp. But for me a Uk record has to be native to this country not genetically modified forced to grow fast and introduced into a water.

71lb 4oz looks a fantastic set up, but if it's not for you dont fish it.But no need for the spiteful comments. When you go out to buy a car you choose what's best for you it's your money, I bet you don't go on social media and slag off every other model you don't like? There are different options for every one just because it's not for you dosent make it wrong.

When in rome, Do as the Romans do.. i started carp fishing at the age of 40 & now 43 😮 this will give anyone who wishes a chance of catching a really big carp without joining expensive syndicates, i get why real carp anglers are pissed it's because they prefer to lock big carp up behind fences and not let anyone else see them 😂 a successful man who's raised 3 kid n give em all a job 👍 those kids are so lucky n I'm proper gel as this is technically my dream.

Number 1 Could listen to Terry's old stories all day long I had my 1st 20+ carp out of the number 2 40 years ago, I am 61 years old now, and the buzz has never left me, I just love the out doors and I fish all year winter being one of my favorite times lovely looking carp lads take care.

Lake 1 - another great watch

Ive sat in Lockwood with one rod and a optonics one day a carp over 40Ib swam right up to me to the bank I fed him my sandwich cheese and onion. I didnt move just watched him/her. That was priceless

Mr Dempsey you might know or knew Fred and Carole my my mates mum and dad. I think he night fished Warwick. We used to fish Coppermill stream big roach. I have a picture grand union canel under the westway in Paddington easy a 25Ib mirror. Floating bread crust I pulled it away from at least 2 smaller carp I was 14 but I'd seen the big one so I waited for him, then he did the same as you said just mouthed it I had a course rod a Mitchell reel 5Ib line and it took me under every boat. I now wont do that but I'd never caught a fish over 3Ib including tench. Then 5 yrs ago I met a young lad the canel next to Sainburys Ladbrokes Grove he lent me his rod at least a 15Ib bream on sinking bread ball size 16 hook I gave him the rod and I netted it and the smile on his face was worth it. I bought 2 tins of corn put it in one spot next to an orange traffic cone on the bottom from the bridge. I was going for a monster orange and white koi I'd seen the week before. I've caught a 5lb rainbow from is it resovoir 4 I forget. Getting up at 4am on the tube to Tottenham Hale was the best time of my life that was 1989 I guess, it got me off the streets. The river Lea was great then as well.

I think I've found my new big fish hero! Holmesy is a scientist as well as a fantastic angler, proved by his 36lb 2oz bar of Yorkshire gold! If I had the opportunity I'd love to win a range of nutrabait products based on what Mark uses to see if I can make them work for me🤔🎣☕

The problem with carp fishing is everyone is so opinionated, if you don’t like don’t fish there simple. People want big fish and most don’t have the time to fish hard tricky syndicates for them. So keep your views to yourself and let other do what they want. You don’t moan at the farmer for growing bigger cow to eat do you so keep it shut lads
