I was literally just walking on the path when I get sideswiped off the edge of the elevated road near the fib building

I'm pretty sure the game forces traffic incidents if you are going too fast for too long without a collision. I remember seeing a DarkViper clip where he was going so fast in Franklin's car with the curb boosting that the game literally spawned a car in on the side of the road and slid it *_sideways_* into the path of his car to slow him down. I think there might be some kind of timer in the code that starts after you reach a certain speed where if you don't crash, the game makes the traffic AI hostile to the player.

It's the worst on the vehicle cargo top range deliveries. Plus the enemies have perfect accuracy like three blocks behind with their SMGs. I gave up on those, not worth the rage.

If you've played long enough, you know rockstar added the feature where trucks and cars are automated to hit you especially when you go fast, if you slow down, they slow down

Still nowhere near as bad as in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2! 🤣 (For anyone who doesn't know, on NfS:HP2, NPC cars will automatically pull onto the shoulder when they're within a certain distance of a cop car with sirens on. The AI does, however, not take into account what the cop car and the racer are doing, so if you're trying to pass them on the shoulder, they will seemingly intentionally turn and ram into you. 🤣👍)
