Hi 😊 If you already have boarding passes for the next flight, a 2-hour layover in HK should be okay, as it saves time on check-in. You’ll just need to go through security and head to your gate, so it shouldn't feel too rushed. 3-hour layover might be ideal. Hope that helps!☺️

The East Coast sounds beautiful, and I’d love to try the freshly made mochi! Do you have any specific shop recommendations in Hualien or Taitung? I’m also considering a trip to Bitou Cape, so any tips or insights about that area would be great. 😊

@@acupoftrip I'm more of a winter person than good at dealing with the summer heat, so I definitely recommend that! Although winter might still be windy and rainy in Taipei and Northern Taiwan lol. As for the freshly made mochi... Always go for 曾傳手工麻糬 (Address:No. 209號, Chongqing Rd, Hualien City, Hualien County, 970)! However, it's a food you should only eat it fresh, the mochi skin will get harden and dry out when leaving out for too long. And I mean it, like don't leave them out over one hour, I've tried to bring them back to Taipei and it's just NOT the same🥲

@@acupoftrip Bitou Cape Park is located at Ruifang, so you could probably fit in Yinyang Sea, Golden waterfall and Jiufen in the same day? If not, Chaojing Park and Heping Island Geopark are also great options for a day trip, and head back to Keelung to visit the Night Market.

Totally agree! The pork belly bun was so juicy, and the wagyu steak was just out of this world. The croquette wagyu had the perfect crunch too. Definitely a must-visit spot in Kobe!
