Not a tan
Nice video but… when addressing the viewers try to acknowledge them by looking at the camera try not to let the nerves win out👍
Great 👍 looking day 👌 at work myself. I'll be hit woods for pa early muzzloader. May do some small game this year. Sit out archery 🏹 this year do health issues this year. Hunt 2b , 2a . Maybe 2f
Heck yeah! Good luck this season! Hope things turn around for you health wise!
Awesome
Thank you!
Beautiful woods what part of pa you at i live in between Clarion and erie and deer numbers here have really exploded in the past few years
We are out of dauphin county
@@CentralPaOutdoorsmen oh your on the opposite end of the state just about 😂 looks like some great woods out that way pa sure is a beautiful state
I’m in the same boat currently! Haven’t had a buck since 2017. Hoping this year is my year. Came close last season. Nice deer
Thank you and good luck this season keep grinding
Awesome good job
Thank you!
Awesome video! My 9 year old watched this and tanned his first rattlesnake. Only issue he has is the scales are pulling off very easily after we oiled it. Any suggestions?
Was it in the process of shedding when you killed it?
@@CentralPaOutdoorsmen It didn't appear to be unless it was in the early stages. That was my thought too. Wanted your thoughts if there was anything I could watch out for next time.
@JBOutdoors45 I wish I could help you more but I don’t have much experience with something like that happening my best guess is something to do with shedding
I fish that area on the bay a couple of times a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Nice quiet area north of the Lewes Ferry...right along Shore Rd., always quiet and rarely a soul other than dog walkers. The only problem is there are practically NO fish there, other than sand sharks (dogfish) or horseshoe crabs in the spring.
Leave them in peace. How would you like to be hunted.
Is that zapping noise the snake?
You can see a black head snake come out on the right side of the screen 2:29
I have this camera and the timestamp won’t show up on bottom of the pic, do you know anything about that?
How about just leaving them alone.
Pennsylvania rattlesnakes are like pets because they’ve been caught and measured so many times that human smells and human handling means nothing, no danger. These snakes have basically been tamed overtime causing the snakes to evolve into just pets.
Trying to tan an iguana
How do you re-attach the rattle?
Just pop it back on the end of the tail super easy!
Snakes are deaf, why are you guys whispering????
We just try to keep as low of a profile as possible, just feels right
When I was a kid my brother and I use to catch copperheads by the dozen. You should check out Canoe Creek. We live on top of the mountain. We had a rattler kill our dog. The snake burrowed under her box. We saw her laying there and when we approached we heard the the rattle.
Copperheads are awesome snakes. I’m sorry to hear about your dog
I have diamondback mount 6 ft 2 in
That’s badass
Did you put the rattler back on? I didn't see it as part of the mount, but i watched by phone.
Yes we did!
Yes sir
Damn they are some fat snakes
Why do you feel the need to go out in nature and "harvest" things that are simply living their life peacefully?
We have observed, photographed, and filmed hundreds of wild Rattlesnakes over the past few years. We do this to share with the world how beautiful and spectacular these creatures are. Our goal is not to search and harvest but yet to search and educate.
Does this apply to pygmys?
That’s a good question. We have never dealt with them so I am unsure
From Pennsylvania?
Yes it was
Hey man what camera u using I wanna start filming my hunts
This video was filmed on a canon g50 camcorder
@@CentralPaOutdoorsmen thank you
@@CentralPaOutdoorsmen and love to see other people's vids from pa cause I hunt and live in pa so nice to see vids from the area I'm from
How big does a copper head have to be to keep in pa
There are no requirements on length for copperheads in Pa
Looks like fun..
A ton of fun!
Don't grab them by the head ROOKIE Middle of the body
I recently watched a YT video of someone who was bitten by a rattlesnake while hiking. After barely surviving the encounter, he bought a pair of snake boots and regretted not doing so earlier. They weren't even that expensive. The hospital bill would have ruined him if a charity organization hadn't covered the costs.
Definitely don’t want that to happen
Do you actually eat these?
You can absolutely
Amazing 🙌
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Why would you post the date and then show picking up a snake out of season
June 8th was the first day of the season that video was take on the 9th
You better check your regulations season is June 10th to July 31 every year
@mikeslear6291 the season always starts the second Saturday in June which was the 8th this year. Both sinnamahoning and Morris had their roundups the 8th and 9th
Not trying to bust your bubble but you better read your regulations
You’re not bursting my bubble. www.fishandboat.com/Fishing/Regulations/Documents/SummaryBook.pdf#page=18 Here is a link to the regulations for 2024 on page 18 it states the season dates as June 8th thru July 31st
Nice
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Copperheads are my favorite snakes from PA by far. Just so beautiful.
I have to agree with you there! Will most likely be the last one I will ever harvest
You don’t need to whisper, do you ? They’re deaf.
We try and keep as low as a profile as possible while out looking, probably don’t need to whisper but can’t hurt.
Crossbow.. boo!!
Yeah yeah
Good stuff! Found my first timber yesterday morning. About a 3’ yellow phase. I about jumped with excitement when I saw it! Got some great photos of it as well. Coiled up, but barely even rattled at all.
Congrats that’s awesome! That’s what’s so great about them they are so docile they let you observe and document and be on your way!
Nice thanks!
Heck yeah! Glad you enjoyed the video plenty more to come soon!
Do u do the rattlesnake round up in Morris?
We did participate in it last year but we were unable to make it there this year
@@CentralPaOutdoorsmen cool Bro Im from Va but my best friend lives in central pa so cool coming cross ur channel! Lots of copperheads where I live had 6 in my back yard last year. Have a good day! Salute
@@sewolverinesthey are pretty damn cool if you ask us! Love hearing where y’all are from thanks for commenting! Glad you enjoyed!
when you do this isht make sure you have 120 GRAND in disposable cash, that's what a snakebite costs these days.
We try our best to respect the snakes and feel as if they return the favor to us by doing so.
@@CentralPaOutdoorsmen hey man, do your thing it's a free country. i was making a point that the medical industrial complex is using health care as a way to rob people who had some bad luck. a snakebite cost should be CAPPED at $5K. these medical people have to be reined in by congress at this point.
Well that was fun to watch from Montana! I used to live up Pine Creek, so it is also fun to hear your accents!
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it!
Any chance this was for the Sinnemahoning snake hunt ?
This was not, this was before the venomous snake season began. All of the snakes in this video were not handled, just captured through the lens to share with you to represent their beauty!
Only in Dubois . Lol
Nice meeting your crew yesterday!
Great meeting with you! Goodluck this season
Quit molesting the snakes. Someone call the game warden.
Pennsylvania has mountains?
Go try hiking up one from the base and you’ll find out ;)
You got that right!
Nice! Great job!
Thank you!
Congratulations any turkey is a beautiful trophy. I hope you have a lot more.
Thank you I appreciate the kind words!
Congratulations,nice bird!!!
Thank you and thank you for watching!
