Whatever you do DO NOT put compressed air in tank to pop out dent I found that out the hard way once i did that the bottom of the tank expanded NOT where i was expecting and if wouldn't fit back on the bike LoL

the 2 metal tubes are over flow & breather hose not for fuel lines the fuel line connects to the fuel pump

Great repair and video mate! I have one of those Porsches and they can be real tough to fix those Trunks? Especially near the braces It’s a typical golf bag in the boot type of dent when the golf club hits the back edge of the panel creating the outward dents I noticed you said off dolly in a comment? That would mean you had your dolly to the side of the damage while you were tapping it ? Dont know if it was a typo but you can certainly use any dolly as long as it’s weighted and fits the shape you want to planish. It’s a basic panel beating technique but using it to PDR requires patience and using it a lot more Gentle. Duct tape really helps soften the blow with the hammer strikes too 🙌🏼 ❤

Super job on a really tough one. 2 things I learned from this. video, 1 - I've never used a dolly before, I need to pick one up and give it a go. I don't know if a cheap dolly works. The other thing was to use duct tape on the underside.

Wow, that’s the type of dent the dealer did to my truck but in the middle of door. My dent is not as bad as this. Your videos give me hope. You’re a very talented guy. Florida is lucky to have a detail oriented artist like yourself. Do the tools do any tool marks when using them, like this car you went through the hole?

Thanks man, I got an oil change at local dodge 1500 dealer and mechanic hit door against something, I’m assuming lift post. Dealer is getting a dent guy like yourself (hopefully) to fix it. It’s a small crease only visible by profiling, probably cuz it’s black. Anyhow thanks for the video, informative, and damn you’re good. Impressive indeed. Peace.
