Nothing is eternal, but memories are. Maybe Tidus and Zanarkand is a fantasy for Spira but not if Yuna and her friends treasure the time they shared with him.

I can't stress enough how this ending is one of the best that I ever experienced, it tears you every time

I didn't notice the first time I played it because it was so quiet, but after Yuna falls through Tidus and lays there a minute while he just stands there, you can hear him softly crying as he watches himself start to fade. IMO it makes it that much more poignant of a scene, as up until that point he's been trying to stay strong and hold it together. I watched the Japanese version later as well and it's a lot more explicit that he's sniffling there.

It’s the music followed by the “I love you!” It just hits different after investing so much time into the game. You felt Yuna’s love and pain. If you didn’t feel something with that ending you simply weren’t invested into the game like so many of us were.

The worst part of this scene is when tidus looks down to see his hands start fading and then looks up knowing yuna is already watching and they both know. Just when I thought I couldn’t tear up anymore. I put like 550 hours into this game. Jesus

After playing the game, I always thought that Yuna is the true protagonist of the duology, and Tidus was a stand-in..

Man oh man. I'm 33 now with a kid on the way and this STILL makes me tear up.

Ffx was good. But fans wanted a "happy ending" so we got x2 and x3. But not all ending get a happy ending so I'll just stay with x.

FF10 is my least favourite but the ending battle with the aeons and this piece of music had me actually crying like a baby. Still gets me now

damn this is so unfair for Tidus... dude literally gets to experience reality outside of his Zanarkand for the first time, he finds love and people who care about him, just to get whisked away and not have the opportunity to see it all through. Same with getting closure with Jecht, it's only for a fleeting moment that he can find that acceptance :'( that's why I'm happy with the good ending in x-2, I want my boi to have a chance to continue his story

Yuna's speech at the end is exactly how I imagine an end of COVID-19 ceremonial speech would sound. Replace 'Sin' with 'COVID' and you could pretty much recite this word for word and get a crowd balling.

The memories of this game.. never forget them. I did cry back then when I was about 11y old and I still do today. I'm 30 now.

Im 34 now, i first played this in 2003, after i first ended this game i was so heartbroken that i couldnt tiuch thecgame again for like 6 weeks or so. Although the farewell to Tidus is a wonderfull scene, the hardest to watch for me is when Yuna remembers everything. Its when the feeling of it all beeing over really hits. It always gives me goosebumps and im tearing up. 5:40 When the music starts and you see everyone one last time... its beautiful. Of course the best part is "and the dreams that have faded" with her remembering... Never forget them! And i surely never will

Couldn't get past Seymour Flux, so... I decided to watch the rest of the game. What a fantastic story... This is probably my favourite part in the game 💕

Just a shame they made a sequel. There are some things that are perfect just on their own. For example they're doing a Gladiator sequel which seems so unnecessary.

I enjoyed playing and beating Final Fantasy 10 on PlayStation 2. good role playing game good characters music story fun turn based battle system :)
