I understand where you are coming from, however the Truth is often in-between two conflictions. If you are completely Spiritual, you ignore any rational progress. If you are completely Rational, you lack inspiration to progress. Humans bounce between the two in order to keep progress.

Astral Projection is using your mind as a tool to 'project' your consciousness. You could certainly find them, they could certainly find you, but you both would need to be projecting to travel together. Forcing someone out of their state of consciousness in that method is nothing I am familiar with.
