Hello Jeff! There are also many places you can rent in San Carlos for $1500 a month. In my opinion the big difference is being on the beautiful Sea of Cortez! San Carlos runs along the coast and I do not think there is a property in town that you cannot be at the beach within 10 minutes! Hi Venito. I agree the rent in San Carlos is expensive compared to areas not on the water. If you compare the rent in San Carlos to other beach front tourist destinations I think you will find the rent here is very competitive! Thank you so much for commenting we really appreciate it!

This is just one example. When I was in Mexico City I spent as little as $300 a month on a hotel room. And ate out all the time. I think I was spending $1000 CAD a month and easily could have gone cheaper. Keep looking around. Tons of cheap places the world over and you'll never slip on ice and break your pelvis in them

San Jose Hospitals is one of the best in the state, They have one in the state capital of Hermosillo and another an hour south of San Carlos in Cuidad Obregon. Hello Michael! Yes you can get a loan in Mexico from a Mexican bank as a foreigner. The interest rates are higher than the US but it is still an option.
