    Was a bit dissapointed in the range to be honest myself.. I bought a brushless combi drill that is actually pretty decent but the chuck developed wobble after only about a month of light use.. It wont drill a nice even diameter hole, bit more of a wallowed hole... I also have that jigsaw, its probably the noisest jigsaw ive ever owned, bit gutless and feels terribly plasticy.. I see they have a brushless jigsaw coming out soon so I might let this one off and buy the new one, hopefully the wobbly chuck is sorted under warranty.. The only reason I wont buy the circular saws is because there all right blade designs, I prefer a blade left as im right handed.. I have a blade left circular saw and I just 3d printed up an adapter to use the einhell batts on it..

    just to remind you folks, any brand of tool will have some sort of failure rate...some more some less...pick whatever has a: longer warrranty, b: better customer service, c: more retailers near you in case tool fails you on the site you can just hop and buy lets say a new battery To this day I have similar range/amount of Einhell tool like author of this video. As a hobbist and occasional sidejob guy I can recommend them. But bear in mind that Einhell has such a vast range of tools (for me even too much). Best bet is 1/3 of their tools in lineup are worth more than they sell for, others are just marketing and half toys. Battery wise: Einhell marks them not only Ah, but rather watts, so if you have power hungry tool more Ah battery will provide better performance to that tool...in retrospective: 2.0ah = 450W 2.5ah= 720W 2.6ah new pxc plus = 720W 3.0ah = 900W 4.0ah = 900W 5.2ah new pxc plus = 1260W 4-6ah new pxc plus = 1350W Ofc more Ah will provide longer working time, but in short time it will provide way better performance, for example on impact wrench more Nm.

    Hey there, I think there's two Einhell impact drivers on the market, both 1/4 hex. I think your one is the newer release with a black sticker logo on the side. It's good to see you recommend it, thank you. The other one has an embossed white logo on the side. I think one has a higher torque with a lesser speed and the other has lower torque with a higher speed. Not sure which spec belongs to which. The newer one has more of a uni-body shell/ casing and is maybe a good £30-40 more. Performance-wise, which would be better to go for? Have an Einhell mower and just bought their cordless chainsaw so since it came with battery system, I can buy an impact driver, body-only. Sorry for the long Q, great video TY, I'm off to cut trees, have a great day!

There is only the one 18v impact listed by my supplier. I will however add that since doing this video I have had another 2 batteries die on me...one was a 3.0ah and the other a 4.0ah so whilst the tools are largely great, the batteries are a weak point

    Hello! I am new on this channel. I am searching for some informations because I am a "beginner". So I am 17 yo and I recently bought an e30 and an e46 m52b28tu for finishing this summer. I know about the oil bay swap but the main problems and questions are about the radiator because I need to make a long trip after I finish it (1350 miles/2200km) from my grandparent's home to my home and I don't think the 318is radiator is a good option it will clearly overheat in this long trip I think. My 2nd question is about the engine arms wich arms I need to use. Please if you can help me with those questions I will be very grateful! I really need help. Thank you! Also good content and lovely dog🥰!

    • @steviesspeedshack
      @steviesspeedshack 2 года назад

      Hey Speed Hunter, thanks for watching and joining in. For the radiator, a lot of people use the aluminium E36 "race" radiators that are readily available on eBay. They apparently bolt in and work well with a decent electric fan or two. The engine mounts you need are E36 2.5/2.8 aluminium mount arms. I'm using those with some 68mm high rubber engine mounts. The e34 M5 rubber mounts apparently work well but I'm planning on using E36 polyurethane mounts. There is a wealth of good information at the following link and also on E30 zone and rv3.... www.garagistic.com/pages/e30-dohc-swap-basics-m50-m52-m52-and-s50

    Hi mate use gloves when you touch the bare metal. It's your hands causing a lot of the rust. Also wd40 on a rag will stop it. Then you can get rid of the wd40 with panel wipe when you come to paint.

    • @steviesspeedshack
      @steviesspeedshack 2 года назад

      Thanks for getting in touch. Most of the work has been done with gloves on and there has been times where condensation has visually formed on the surfaces of my toolbox, panels, cupboards etc. It's a really poor atmosphere at the moment and it's something I'll combat with better extraction and heating. As for the steelwork, I'm hitting everything with etch primer now so it's not causing too much of an issue anymore.

    • @denguefever9489
      @denguefever9489 2 года назад

      @@steviesspeedshack Next time I think a dehumidifier will help you a lot with the condensation. As for heating, look into a Chinese diesel heater - I just installed one in my garage and it's absolutely fantastic. I noticed you said you were gonna epoxy prime. With the epoxy primer I'm using (jotamastic 87) it's quite thick without thinning so brushes on very well. So if you strip the underseal in sections, areas that don't need welding can be cleaned up and painted immediately with a brush on application of epoxy primer. Since it's going to be covered in underseal anyway, a brushed finish is fine. Out of interest what underseal are you going for?
