Wars and rumors of wars cause so much displacement, so much unrest
From what our eyes see, it seems clear to me goodness is losing & the wicked are blessed
But the story has a glorious ending, if you can believe it, if you dare
Day will pierce the night with a brilliance no mortal could now bear
The future will see the redemption of all our tears and of all this earthly sod
